Our entire group was very happy with the property. Nice location. Very quiet, peaceful area with lots of wildlife and nature, yet very close to restaurants, convenience stores, bus line, etc. We saw monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, toucans and more right from the property. More than what we saw at Manuel Antonio national park. Loved the pool and the outdoor living area. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

The place was exactly as pictured, the concierge was very responsive and everything was lovely. There was the prettiest blue butterfly that would circle the property every morning between 730-8am. It was a steep hike up to the main roads but once there the town was very walkable. We felt very safe and well cared for. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful experience. Most taxi rides were ~10 minutes to nice restaurants or the beach. Our group had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful experience. Scott was great to work with and the concierge Susan was incredibly helpful. We also had chef Renzo cook for us three nights and it was absolutely delicious. The home is beautiful and clean. We loved seeing the monkeys in the mornings and at dusk, along with the few toucans we saw in the trees. The beach is just a short drive along with whatever you need from the town. Don’t hesitate to book this home. Just do it!

This is one of our favorite VRBOs ever. Highly recommend. Susan, the manager, is incredibly helpful both before and during our time there. We would happily stay here again, and might indeed do so!

We were thrilled with our stay at this beautiful home in Manuel Antonio. The location was perfect to get to stores, restaurants and the beach. The house was clean, comfortable and provided us entaintment from monkeys who would visit us daily. The pool was wonderful after a hot day at the beach. We hired the private chef for a breakfast and two dinners who provided us with magnificent meals in the comfort of our rental. Chef is highly recommended! Susan the Concierge was always quick to answer our questions and Laura the maid kept our clothes and home clean every day. We felt extremely fortunate to have found this home and we hope to return. Pura Vida!

It’s hard to describe how incredible this property is. Right when we met Susan for check-in at the property, she pointed out a sloth hanging out in the tree over the pool! The variety of wildlife here was as equally amazing as the property itself. We saw howler and white-faced monkeys just about every day, scarlet macaws, toucans, sloths, morpho butterflies, raccoons, and several other animals. The property was very spacious and well equipped. Laura provided a wonderful laundry service each day, as well as a general clean-up of the kitchens, baths, and bedrooms. Susan, the concierge, was a wonderfully helpful source of local advice and information. Overall, we were very very pleased with the accommodations, property, and level of friendliness and service provided. We would recommend this property to anyone!

Casa Bamboo was all we could have hoped for in our stay in Manuel Antonio. Our extended family of 7 (including a 9 month old) enjoyed the house, the great pool and the forested area behind it. We saw howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, iguanas, and macaws right at the house. Also saw a sloth a few times on the walk up the driveway. Felt like paradise. Susan was helpful with advice and trips and Chef Renzo and Roberto treated us to a couple great dinners at the house - so relaxing and yummy! We were glad we decided to forego renting a car and shuttled to the house from SJO. Lots of hills, but it is easy to get around without a car and all tours will pick you up at the house. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our family. True Pura Vida!!

Perfect house and experience! The house was perfect for our two families. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and relaxing by the pool. Susan is fantastic. She helped us plan our vacation, gave us advice, booked taxis, and was very responsive to all of our needs. Chef Micheal was perfect, and Vivian (our tour guide for the park) was amazing too! We would definitely book this property again and again!! Pura Vida!

From the beautiful home to the incredible food made by Chef Renzo to our concierge. The whole crew made this an experience we will never forget. The sloths in the neighborhood, macaws flying over to monkeys showing up and making us laugh at the pool. Look no further. Incredible

Our group included 10 people, two couples and six kids between the ages of 7 to 15. Casa Bamboo was perfect for us! We arrived and were immediately welcomed by Susan, the Concierge, several monkeys, and a sloth! We also discovered many iguanas, frogs, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other wildlife throughout the week. Everything in the house was as described, which was fabulous. The outdoor living space upstairs was spacious, the pool was clean and refreshing, and the beds were comfortable. Susan helped us with excursion plans, scheduled two chef dinners for us, made a 20th wedding anniversary special, and was always quick to respond to our questions. We were so thankful for Susan!! Laura kept laundry and the house clean which was a huge perk. Chef Renzo was also amazing. His presentation was beautiful and dinners were among our favorites while in Costa Rica! We enjoyed the quiet location of the house and the closeness to Manuel Antonio (a short walk). The taxis and bus were easy to use too. We recommend walking to the restaurant Oceana (beautiful view), zip lining with El Santuario Canopy Adventure (transportation and a delicious lunch included), a self-guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, and spending the day at Manuel Antonio Beach. Thanks for sharing your PARADISE with us! We cannot wait to visit again. PURA VIDA!!!

We saw all types of monkeys and a sloth in the trees behind the pool. The kids loved it .

The house is exactly like the pictures,. The house was very clean and was clean everyday by Laura, who did exceptional job, keeping the house clean. Susan, the concierge was always just a phone call away to help with anything that we needed. A must stay and will come back.

We needed a break from all this chaos from the city so we decided to give it a go to one of Costa Rica's most famous beaches and national parks. We had plenty of options and choices. This place worked perfectly for a family of all ages. 2, 4, 9, 15, 20, 24, 40, 51 and 67!!!! Plenty of space, comfortable, wonderful natural surrounding and a private chef and his assistant to make you feel as if you were in a 5 star resort all to you self. Laura the housekeeper was on top of cleaning and Chef Renzo catered to all our needs and so did his assistant Roberto. Susan (property manger) also checked in to make sure we were doing well and if we needed anything else. LOADS OF MONKEYS...Squirrel Monkeys, White Face Monkeys, Howler Monkeys and to put a cherry on top...last day a Sloth right in front of the pool. Not to mention the birds and wonderful sounds of nature and rain every night to help sleep peacfullt.

The house is huge with an upstairs and downstairs kitchen , perfect for families on different eating schedules. The patios and pool were great for spending family time together. We we’re right in the jungle. The animals came to us. We saw different types of monkeys, sloths lots of birds including the Toucan. Communication with the property manager was great. No problems or surprises whatsoever and the maid was like part of the family. We loved the property , the people and Costa Rica.

What an excellent stay in beautiful Costa Rica!! We Had 6 girls ranging from 13 years to 40 and add an absolute blast at Casa bamboo!! Thanks to the Bittner family and their concierge team for arranging catering, transportation, and providing us with some of the finest lodging available in the Quepos area. We will be back !!

We could not imagine a more perfect setting for our family to gather. The home is even more beautiful than the photos. All amenities were provided and the concierge and maid attended to all our needs. Gorgeous setting with wildlife on property. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants to experience the best of Costa Rica....great restaurants, beautiful beaches, all services near by.

Our stay at Casa Bamboo was exceptional: Beautiful home tucked away in a private community. Jungle surrounding us. Wasn’t quite sure of two kitchens. One down stairs one up. Found it to be very convenient, as we were able to hang out by the pool and have all our drinks and snacks below. I can’t say enough about Laura our maid. She was wonderful. Came everyday but Sunday. Made everything perfect for us all. The Gardner’s also came daily, to clean the pool and keep up the outside area. Susan was a gem. Super helpful. Prior to our arrival up to the day we left. Always had a cab within minutes after calling. Recommended the best restaurants in town. Last but not least Page our chef who was also recommended by Susan was perfect, wonderful and delicious menu. Prepared by a professional. But book early as she is always busy. Do not hesitate to stay at Casa Bamboo.I give it 10 stars

Casa Bamboo was a wonderful place for our family vacation. It was the first time in almost 20 years that we all (9 of us) were together for a vacation and Casa Bamboo was perfect! We spent most of our week at the house by the pool - sun from about 10-3 around the pool and then we would head to the beach for an afternoon swim and sunset. The kitchens were great and supplied with everything we could want. After stocking up at the big grocery store in Quepos, the little market to the left just outside of the gate, provided everything that we needed. The wildlife on the property kept us entertained all week. Scarlet Macaws every morning, Tucans, squirrel monkeys, howlers, capuchin, humming birds, blue morpho butterflies, motmot and other birds - we didn't want to leave the property for fear of missing a sighting! Manuel Antonio Park was a great way to spend a day where we were treated to 3 sloth sightings. There were many options for a more active/adventurous vacation, but for us, just having such a comfortable, beautiful spot to be together was perfect! Every morning was like Christmas morning - I couldn't wait to be up before sunrise to take my coffee out by the pool just to hear and see what morning wildlife would come around. Susan and Laura were great and made everything so easy and welcoming. We turned the TV's on once to watch the NFL playoffs - an unexpected treat to watch our team while in Costa Rica! The beautiful setting almost made the loss OK. You will love everything about this house!

We absolutely loved our (too short) stay! This place is amazing and Susan makes it even better! She was full of advice and help and even surprised us for our anniversary. She is quite the professional and really made our stay wonderful. We loved every minute of our time and wish we could have stayed longer. I am glad we had a car and definitely recommend renting one. I would not hesitate to book this home again or recommend it to friends and family. Such a gem in a wonderful location.

Casa Bamboo is a beautiful home perfect for your stay in Manuel Antonio! The location is great, we had cars but it is walkable to bus stops and restaurants if you don’t have your own transportation. The street is gated and secure, the house is clean and comes with a housekeeper and concierge. The pool and non-heated jacuzzi were perfect to cool off and refresh after a day at the beach in the heat. If we are lucky enough to come back to Costa Rica we would not hesitate to stay here again!

House was tucked away but right near town. The security gate and guards gave us an extra element of safety allowing us to enjoy our stay even more. The house lays out like two different homes on the first and second floors. Since we had two families staying it was nice to have our own areas to retreat when needed. Susan (concierge) was very helpful with anything we needed and always quick to respond. Laura (housekeeper) was efficient and thorough despite our mess. Scott (the owner) also checked in on us from time to time (via messenger) to make sure we had anything we needed. Our stay was relaxing and easy due to the well thought out amenities. Whatever we needed -from a coffee maker to an immersion blender - was on hand. The towels were nice and soft and the beds were comfortable. The view was spectacular. The early morning jungle waking up was my personal favorite. We saw several monkeys, hummingbirds, butterflies etc that constantly kept smiles on our kids faces. I would recommend without hesitation to first time and seasoned visitors. Thanks to this great location.

We had 8 family members in our party between the ages of 20 and 83 and Casa Bamboo was the perfect place!! There was enough room for everyone and the outdoor entertaining space was heavily utilized...two of our three nights we elected to stay in because everyone was so happy between pool and massive table that became center entertainment space for rousing card games. The concierge, Susan, was easily accessible via whatsapp and answered questions immediately or as soon as she could....she arranged a mangrove tour for us and they picked up and dropped off right at the door and the house is situated minutes from everything. Laura, the housekeeper was wonderful and pleasant to be around. We had a fantastic time at Casa Bamboo! We will be spreading the news of this gem in the forest to all of our friends!

Fantastic place in the jungle. The home was luxurious, well equipped if you wanted to stay in and cook and close to great restaurants if you wanted to eat out. Many animals dropped by. Just a short taxi ride to the beach and Manuel Antionio National Park. The location of the house was absolutely perfect. We all had tremendous time and would highly recommend this home to anyone travelling to this area.

Wild greenery out every window, the noises of the jungle all around, yet modern comforts and conveniences. We saw toucans, white-faced monkeys, marmots and a sloth on the property. We were happy to have this home to spend part of every day relaxing in the pool or sitting on the veranda. One excursion per day and then this place were a perfect balance. Highly recommend!

Solitude, immersed in the jungle, monkeys all about, and an occasional Congo. Short drive to all the restaurants, right down the street from the best one, the Mar Luna, a must. The maid is a gem, the property manager is fantastic, booked our excursions and made sure things went off without a hitch. 5 stars!
