Leuke kamer in huis vlakbij de cathedraal. Blij dat we de keuken konden gebruiken om lekker voor jezelf te koken. De ontvangst was vriendelijk, we mochten alvast onze tassen beneden zetten. Er is een heel leuk dakterras waar het goed toeven is. Zelfs is er een kleine koelkast op de kamer.

Both staff members on duty during my stay were kind, solicitous, and attentive. Bed was super comfy and I loved my little terrace and having a fridge in my room. Air conditioning was just enough, not too much. Kitchen was very well equipped and organized. And the vibe of the decor was perfect.

Toilets and sinks should be separated from showers by doors that lock from both sides. At least make one toilet and sink completely independent from the showers. One guest decided to take a 30-minute shower while the other bathroom was occupied for quite a while, I had to use the bathroom, and I was starting to wonder if I was going to have an accident. Thankfully that did not occur, but it could have.

Great hostel right in the centre of Almeria, nice people working there and the rooms are neat with comfortable beds. Had a nice common area with a fully equipped kitchen and I could even leave my bike with them which I very much appreciated!

The personnel was superfriendly and would do a lot to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was available in the kitchen to us, as well as cold water to accomodate for the heat. The room had pleasant air conditioning and the terrace was a very cosy place to sit with people we met in the hostel. Would surely recommend as your go to stay in Almería

The hostel is well located, right next to the Alcazaba, has a nice rooftop terrasse and Euge, one of the staff members, is exceptionally kind and nice. We had lunch together and went to the beach when she had a day off, together with some other people who stayed at the hostel. I had a great and pleasant time.

All rooms have air cons, which work perfectly well and it's easy to sleep at night, but it would be great if there'd also be an air con in the kitchen.

The whole place is very narrow. I always felt somehow "trapped" and moved carefully. The private room doesn't have much space around the bed, the common room next to the kitchen is small and occupied all day long by the volunteers (which don't have a place to stay or work but just one to sleep). The stairs connecting the three leves are narrow and steep. The only really enjoyable place is the roof terrace. The kitchen has a lot of facilities but everything was pretty old and neglected. Many things are not really working (e.g. knifes which don't cut).

the accommodation only had 2 bathrooms which is not that much for everyone. also the toilet is inside the bathroom so if you want to use that you can be unlucky.

I stayed in La Pita Guesthouse a few years ago and loved it, so when I decided to return to Almería I immediately booked a bed in their dorm here. It has such a welcoming, homely vibe, and they've improved the dorm room since I stayed. Now 4 out of the 5 beds have curtains, they all have their own light and charging sockets (EU plug). There is still a lovely little balcony and lockers (with keys provided, though they are a bit small). Clean bedding and towels are provided and you'll have full use of the cosy kitchen and beautiful roof terrace. The staff are friendly, helpful and always there to look after a suitcase or give some advice about your travels. Other guests were really friendly but respectful of quiet times (about 11pm to 8pm).

If the dorm or guesthouse is full (I believe there could be about 12 people at a time), you might need to plan your bathroom time strategically, because there are 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, wash basin and toilet, but none separate, so people tend to be in there for at least 15 minutes at a time in the morning/night. But I didn't have any issues and they are all kept clean and well-stocked.

Warm welcoming. Beautiful house and terrace and bathrooms. Cleaned, colourful, cosy. Good location.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The location between the alcazaba and the cathedral was ideal to explore Almería's historic neighborhood.
