Overall, we had a great stay! The house is beautiful and location was amazing. The house could use some basic kitchen tools etc. There is a very limited number of glasses in the kitchen to be more specific. Also, the AC at the back of the house was a challenge. It never really got cool back there. We would definitely stay there again :)

This is the third year we’ve stayed in this lovely home. Perfect for large families with children. Short walk to the beach. New deck and new baths on first floor. Beach is very private. Hope to stay again! Jon and Donna, the property managers are over the top responsive.

8 adults for a golf holiday. We all loved the house, amenities and location( 2 mins to the beach). Jon and Donna Strebe were excellent property managers and very responsive to any queries or issues, of which there were very few. It would be a great house for families to enjoy as lots of space, bedrooms, amenities and a great pool and hot tub. Would rebook anytime!

Our group throughly enjoyed the property. It was spacious, clean and private. We definitely plan to visit again in the future and would recommend to friends and family. The management was attentive, quick to respond and easy to work with.

We recently had a wonderful week at 1 Night Harbor in Palmetto Dunes. This included a total of 13 people from three families, which matched up perfectly with the 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Each of the parents had their own master king suite and bathroom downstairs while all of our 7 teenagers had three bedrooms and a bonus room/loft to themselves upstairs with their own bathrooms. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed. We prepared several meals and used the grill and ovens quite often. There is also a refrigerator in the garage, which was great for storing all of our drinks. We enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball table, and pool. It was great that 10 beach towels were included. The garage is well stocked with beach chairs, a pull cart, and some other beach items, which helped us limit the number of items we had to bring with us. The location was perfect with only a very short walk to the beach. The beach access has a ramp instead of steps (great for our pull carts). This section of beach is not crowded.
We understand from other reviews that the deck is being replaced this fall. Also, the construction on the house next to us was not an issue at all (they appear to be working on finishes inside, which minimized the noise).
Overall, this was a great house and we would definitely stay there again. The property managers were great and very responsive.

We planned a 4 generation family trip and the property did not disappoint. Having a 6 bedroom house, all with private bathrooms was fantastic, when coming back from the beach. Speaking of the beach, it truly was a few minute walk to the beach & much less crowded than other parts nearer to condo buildings. The pool also provided a nice relaxing place to hang out at after a hot day at the beach. We ate every meal but 1 at the house and never felt like anything was missing as to appliances, cookware, etc. Overall a fantastic experience including communications with Jon.

We’ve been going to HH since 1980, pretty much every year. As our family grows, so does our need for more bedrooms and more space. This 6 BR home fits our needs perfectly. We’ve stayed here 2 years in a row and plan to be back in 2023. Jon and Donna, the property managers, are very attentive, easy to work with, and down home friendly.

Loved the house and pool area. Especially loved the new pool table as our whole family loves the game. Property manager, John, gave great service when needed. Always gave immediate attention to our needs.

House layout fit our family to a T. Only complaint was finding out the cost to heat the pool would be $500 so we declined and our littles never got to use the pool.

We loved the cleanliness and size of the house but our favorite things were the pool/spa and closeness to the beach! We had a slight issue when we got there and Jon was super responsive and took care of it immediately! We had a great week and I highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful stay at 1 Night Harbor. The house was very spacious and accommodated our large family very well. Love the location to the beach. The house would be an exceptional rental with some cosmetic and functional updates...needs to be "refreshed" especially in bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall, a great vacation spot. Also, I do wish it had been disclosed in the listing that construction of a new house was going on right next door.

Our family of 11 stayed at this property for four nights. Everything was perfect. It is as beautiful as described on VRBO. The kids loved the two minute walk to the beach as well as the pool and hot tub. The three main on-suites were perfect for our six adults and the children took over the upper level with dance parties and foosball. The property is very nicely decorated and very clean. Having beach chairs, towels, and toys was a huge plus. Our stay could not have been better.

We had a great stay here. The home is showing more wear than the previous year and is due for some updating. The location and size of the home are both great. There is a new construction home going in right next door which takes away from some of the back yard privacy. This house was fine for a bunch of guys but I think a large family might be underwhelmed. The property management company was great. Very professional and responsive.

This group of friends have been together for forty years. The house was perfect for us and was our second time staying there. The six bedrooms and six private baths was perfect. The long dining room table seated us all and the kitchen was well equipped as we ate all of our meals in.

Great for our 13-person extended family. Six bedrooms served our needs perfectly, each with large private bath. House was very clean. Kitchen well equipped - appliances and dishes/utensils/pots & pans, etc. With the exception of one TV, everything worked as expected. We would recommend to others.

Loved the house and location. We had four couples, so the house worked out really well for our group. Everyone liked their beds. The kitchen was also well appointed, which worked well, since we cooked in much of the time.
The pool and outdoor area also worked out well, and location to the beach was fantastic.
We had a wonderful time and we would love to rent this home again!!

1 Night Harbor is a terrific house with a comfortable layout, easy access to the beach, and great amenities. Jon, the house manager (great guy!), was so accommodating and made our stay so easy. We can’t wait to go back!

Overall OK. Layout of house fit us perfectly. Biggest complaints were limited kitchenware (eg. tupperware, broken corkscrews, etc.) which made making meals and storing leftovers more of a challenge. Other big negative was the cleanliness of the backyard area. Mold growing all around shower area and in general, a little run down in appearance. Could use a good power washing.

This was a great house for a multi-generation family vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We all enjoyed the large pool and the short walk to the beach.
Ryan and Jon were very responsive answered all of our questions promptly.

Excellent for 11 people - full extended family! No kid stuff inside (packnplay, high chairs) but lots of chairs, beach towels, and toys outside!
Bedrooms had large closets so we stuck pack plays in there. Kitchen was spacious. Pool chairs need some upgrades but generally not an issue.
Trash comes on Wednesday and you don’t have to do anything (we stressed over this) and if it rains you’ll have to skim the pool.
Beach access was by far the best part - less than 2 mins and you’re on the beach, no stairs involved!!
Overall a fabulous stay!

Spacious Retreat
Loved the spacious house and backyard oasis. Very private and were entertained with wildlife- deer, frogs and dragonflies. The property manager handled a few issues very quickly and in a professional manner. Perfect for our family retreat!

Best house for a group
This was a reunion of 7 high school friends from the 60s. We loved having our own rooms and bath. This house is ideal for a family reunion, friends getaway or any trip where a group needs their own room. We fell in love with Hilton Head and Savannah and will return with our families someday. This home is close to lots of great dining and a short walk to the beach. Thank you owners for a wonderful time.

Great stay at 1 Night Harbour!
A group of six adults, one teen and one pre-teen found ourselves in this bright and spacious home, equipped with everything we might have needed to enjoy our annual trip to HHI... beach towels, beach gear, foosball, etc. The pool and hot tub were great and got a ton of use; proximity to the beach was SO convenient (especially for our parents at 80 and 73); and we liked being centrally-located in Palmetto Dunes. Since this home backs up to the golf course, golf ball hunting in the backyard became a fun daily activity. Great hospitality and charming welcome touches by the property manager... they checked in first day and quickly addressed a small challenge with the pool. Kitchen was incredibly equipped... down to a separate small freezer for ice alone for all those cold beverages! We would certainly consider renting this home again... my only nit/comment is next year's pricing seems to have significantly increased.
All in all, a nice home in a great location and lots of fun had by all.

Great family get away, amazing and close beach
This house is perfect for extended family stays! This was our second time staying and it did not disappoint. The 3 minute walk to the beach is a must! We love that each room has its own bathroom and the rooms are spacious.

Great time!
This was our second trip to HH and we loved every minute. The beach was super close and we enjoyed our bike rides to the pickleball and tennis courts. The house was awesome! Had everything we needed. Hope to come again soon!

Amazing vacation spot
Everything about my experience was great. John the property manager was available for any questions or concerns. The house was perfect for a group of eight women. It was clean and bright. I would highly recommend this property.

Parking restrictions
There were six couples, but only five parking passes. Getting into the neighborhood was a little cumbersome and the code to open the house was incorrect. The house was good and plenty of space for six couples. One couple couldn’t come due to Covid so the parking wasn’t an issue. Don’t know that I would rent again due to parking restrictions

Amazing experience
The house was amazing. It was perfect for our family Christmas gathering. Amazing communication with the property owner. 2 min walk from the beach. Wonderful sunrise to experience with loved ones. We would definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Perfect for our family gathering
We had extended family totaling 10 people for Thanksgiving. The property was clean, plenty big for us to all have private spaces. The kitchen was well-supplied with cookware etc. Large dining table was perfect for enjoying meals together. Truly a 2 min walk to pristine beach! Hot tub didn’t work when caretaker came to turn it on for us which was disappointing but not a deal breaker.

Beach was a very short walk as promoted and The Beach was not crowded in this area on beautiful Warm October days. Renting bikes was great for beach and path riding.

HHI Pickleball Getaway 2020
11 friends stayed for a long weekend of Pickleball! It was the Perfect house to more than adequately accommodate us! The house and the included amenities were all excellent! Great house for large family vacations. The setting was serene , quite and filled with wildlife . Just a hop , skip and Juno to the beach ! Plan to rent again and will highly recommend to others !
