Pictures are very deceptive in my opinion. The house could use a lot of TLC especially on the outside of the home. Several parts on the outside of the home was dry rotted and the home smelled very strongly of mildew/mold. Very unsettling. I understand the home was built in the 1800s, however it appeared normal maintenance had been overlooked. We ended up cutting our trip short unfortunately.

The house was gorgeous and in a fab location! Beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for us all. We did run into an issue at our property where the previous occupant burnt plastic in the oven, which was discovered when we tried to make dinner on our first night. I reached out to the rental company the next day to let them know, and they sent a maintenance person to come check it out. Upon arriving home that day, the oven had an “Out of Order” sign. When I reached back to out to you for another update, we were told our only options were to let maintenance come back the next day to burn the rest out, which would cause the home to smell like burnt plastic (we still had 1 day left in our trip) or wait until we left. Both options were pretty frustrating as we booked an Airbnb over a hotel specifically so we could make food at home, and as a result had a significant portion of groceries go to waste, and we had to spend additional money on ordering out. There was no offer to compensate or find a solution that worked for me and my party.

Loved the house, loved the location!!
House was as advertised, and was plenty of space for the five of us. The stairs up to the loft are indeed steep, but this was not an issue for our group.
Charming older house, on a beautiful, beautiful street. Outdoor patio is sizable, which was great.
Even the river area was at most a 20-minute walk, which was not a problem at all. Savannah is best seen by foot, and Jones Street is a great location in which to center oneself for seeing the city.
Great communication with Lucky Savannah too, both before and during (smoke detector battery replaced ASAP) our stay.
Would absolutely stay here again!!

Cool old house, but we had a roof leak the entire stay and it rained a lot. Management communicated well and did what they could, but with a 3 night stay, not much could be done to fix the problem. The home is decorated beautifully, just be prepared to walk up some narrow stairs. After all, the home is over 150 years old.

Nice historical home but cluttered. Too many chairs and tables in each room. And the attic room was a storage area for extra furniture. Carpets needed replaced or cleaned as well as the couches and chairs. Pull out so sofa bed a disaster.

Our family of 7 loved this property. Everyone was comfortable and the space was more than adequate. It is a historical home, so it is of course a little dated but it adds to the charm. The location was perfect, we could walk to most places (about 15 mins) and the only way to experience Savannah is by walking! The patio space was larger than I anticipated. We would stay here again!

We really loved this place. My ONLY cautions are 1) the stairs to the upper room are VERY STEEP so we were a little nervous about the kids up there, 2) the rooms are small so it was a little challenging to find a place for a pack n play, and 3) the house was a little off the beaten path, but all in all a lovely house, so charming, clean, comfortable.

Friends and I stayed here while visiting Savannah. It was very convenient to be able to store our luggage, ahead of check in time. The Lucky Savannah office is a short walk away from the property.
The house was comfortable for the seven adults that stayed. It was convenient for walking wherever you needed to go. And, it’s located on the prettiest block in town.

Cute cottage in very nice location
Jones Street cottage was just as listed. We were four adults and an infant and the size was perfect. Wish there was a bathroom in the loft area to prevent going up and down the narrow stairs but we made it work. The cottage is nicely decorated and in perfect location. Parking was ideal with dedicated spot. Overall enjoyed the property and would stay again.

We rented the Jones St cottage for my wedding guests. It was absolutely beautiful. My guests were quite comfortable. However the refrigerator did not work. Fortunately my guests really did not need it for much as the ate out mostly. They very much enjoyed their stay.

Jones Street Cottage is a lovely house with plenty of room for a family. Great updated kitchen. Fabulous location. There was a maintenance issue with the chimney and Lucky Savannah were quick to move us to a wonderful alternative rental when they realized that it could not be quickly fixed.

This place was much larger and much nicer than they let on! I was very pleasantly surprised! I ended up having 15 women in this place and we fit perfectly fine. There was even space left over to fit more (with air mattresses). I would recommend this to any person trying to vacation in Savannah. It is not as close to downtown as they describe, but a $5 uber will get you there in no time.

The information provided ahead of time was extremely helpful and made everything go smoothly. We did have some roof leaks during a heavy thunderstorm that should be checked out (in the living room and the pass through from the kitchen to the living room, as well as by an upstairs window). But otherwise, we had a fabulous time.

This place was even better than the pictures show! We had a great time in Savannah, and the place was no small part of that. I highly recommend this place!The only factor that a group (especially of girls) might want to consider is there is only one bathroom. Seven or so consecutive showers can take up some time. I wouldn't let this stop anyone from renting it, just something to consider.

Loved the location and the house. Had a wonderful time. Things to take note of about the house. All requests for service were handled promptly and curteously. a)front door lock wasnt working properly.(new batteries in the unit fixed that promptly)b)grill hadnt been cleaned. (we ended up not using it so its still clean)c)The ice maker on the fridge seemed not to work but after reading the instructions on the Ice tray, the situation was easily fixed. If you havent used the feature in a long time the ice clumps together so you need to shake the ice bin and it should work.d)the free standing A/C on the upper lever does not seem to function properly. It would go to 66-71 on its own but you couldnt set the temp yourself. Not sure if its an issue w the unit or we didnt know how to work it right.e)We didnt mind but there is a VERY strong musty smell in the dining room when you enter the unit. Not sure how that is rectified as its an old unit but future guests might not be happy with that.Other than that we had an amazing fun time. Were very happy with the service that Lucky Savannah provided us. Absolutely loved the Lucky Savannah App.

We had a very enjoyable stay with 2 couples and 3 kids. Great location in the historic district, walkable or short drive to most popular activities in Savannah. Parking on the back alley for 2 cards. Great sized yard with plenty of seating, although mind some rust spots on some of the patio furniture. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Very comfortable beds (quite high bed in front bedroom may be an issue for less mobile guests). Compact bathroom with separate WC downstairs. Small house by US standards, but plenty of space downstairs with lots of seating and large dining table that would easily seat 8. High quality appliances including washer & dryer. Central air con with freestanding machine in attic room. Gas BBQ in the back yard. Tank was empty when we stayed so we didn't use it, but I would check ahead with Lucky Savannah about arrangements if you plan to use it.Be aware - very steep stairs to the attic room, although a child gate has been installed at the top.iPhone app was so convenient for arrival/departure info and reporting maintenance issues.

We had a faulty toilet upstairs which blocked almost on the first day and had to wait for someone to come. When the plumber left we were informed it was for liquids only!. Downstairs the kitchen sink was blocked as well and the piping was actually cracked and leaking into the cleaning bucket they had put there strategically. It was obviously something that had been going on for a while. One of the bedrooms upstairs was very small for 2 people and the 4 in the attic creaked so much no dared turn over! Then I left some clothes in the cupboard and have been trying to get those back over the past weeks, contacting them on a daily basis with no result whatsoever. Ridiculous when they are able to contact me to send a review. They do not follow-up. And I am still sad about my clothes.

The home is cute! The two living areas make it feel larger than it is, which was really nice. There is plenty of seating for everyone. As others mentioned the stairs to the third floor loft are steep but totally manageable. The kitchen has very nice appliances and adequate supplies. We had some issues and we tried calling and texting the rental company with no response. I understand it was a holiday weekend but we couldn’t get the washer/dryer to turn on, and the toilet wouldn’t stop running and someone was double parked in the private parking space two days in a row so we couldn’t open the back gate to take out the trash. I never heard back from the company. They told us to text because it wa a holiday. Finally we reset the breakers because we needed to do laundry. But normally I wouldn’t want to take matters into my own hand with someone else’s home. Also the house was not dirty but I would not say it was shining either. Great location for the price though. A long walk to Forsyth but manageable! Also we got an email saying the house was vacant the day before our rental so we could add a day for 50% off. That was nice but we didn’t need it. So we asked for an early check in but they couldn’t accommodate it. That seemed strange considering the house was empty and available a day early. Oh also it was quite windy during our stay and something on top of the chimney flapped all night long. For a few hours we thought it was ghost footsteps in the attic!!

Cozy wonderful house in a perfect location!
We absolutely loved staying in this house. It is on the quiet end of the street in a lovely neighborhood. It is in walking distance from everything and a 20 minute walk to the Savannah River. The house itself was very clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. The sunroom in the morning was such a treat, and the patio was quaint and sunny for eating meals. It was a perfect place to stay all around. We can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed Our Stay on Jones Street
Overall this house served us well very during our stay in Savannah. Jones Street is said to be the most beautiful street in the historic district and we would certainly agree with that. The house itself is spacious with plenty of sleeping options and the kitchen, dining room, living room and sun room, as well as the outside patio area, are large and give you plenty of room to spread out if you have several people staying. The bathrooms are not large but since we only had 4 in our group, they worked fine for us. As a couple of other reviews have mentioned, the steps to the 3rd floor loft are steep, but not unmanageable for most guests. There are some updates that could be done such as repairing scratches and furniture marks on the walls, replacing nicked toilet seat, etc; that would make it look a little better inside but those are all minor items and did not detract from our stay. The on-street parking was fine and there is also one parking spot in the back which we did not use since there was always open spots on Jones Street in front of the house. The house is on the far end of Jones Street but still very much within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. It was probably a good 12-15 minute walk to River Street, but with the beauty of Savannah and all those squares, it was a very enjoyable walk. It is closer than that to Forchsyte Park and other attractions such as Leopold's ice cream....delicious! Clary's Corner is a great breakfast spot which is only a 5 min walk...highly recommend that. Even walking late at night, we felt very safe and never experienced any issues at all. Overall, I would recommend this place and we would certainly stay there again!
