The Ron Beach is in a great location with consistently very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast and dinner. There are multiple tables filled with a huge array of food: the salad table looked like a rainbow with countless selections. There is a hot food section, pizza area, an entire desert table and separate ice cream area. Ample parking and a perfect spot to begin your Galilee tour. Locally owned, this hotel took care of its staff during covid and it shows in their dedication and customer service. We have stayed twice and the rooms have always been large, well appointed and clean. Staff goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasurable. From the front desk, to the dining room manager, the staff is excellent!
The exterior (back of the hotel near the water) probably needs significant upgrades. Part of the dining room needs window shades. Hallways are very warm and need updating.

It was like being on a boat on the Galilee - Our room was so close to the water all you could see from the bed was the sea. Just lovely to wake up to the sounds of the waves and birds. The room was clean and well appointed. Housekeeping to management were amazingly friendly and gracious. The hotel is an easy ten minute walk to the main shopping area by the water in Tiberias. A local bus runs right in front of the hotel and can easily take you to all of the historically places: such as Capernaum, Magdala and the Mt. of Beatitudes. The breakfasts and meals at the hotel are wonderful! You will not regret staying here - Will definitely make this our go-to place in Tiberias.

The maid skipped our room. The hall was dirty and damp. The parking was taken by non-guests. The worst part - the hotel was taken hostage by some of the vulgar guests who shouted, brought a boombox and made noise all day. It was disturbing everyone else who just wanted to chill by the pool. The owner of the place backed them up and put the other guests at second priority. When we complained, the staff exposed us in front of the problematic guests.

Proximity to the lake is amazing. You can dive off of the pool lawn directly into the water!
Tiberias itself is nothing to write home about. I recommend to check-in, enjoy the facilities (pool/lake) and then check-out.
