Excellent location in the centre of Västerås. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. A lovely ambiance in an art nouveau-themed, older property.

The rug in our bedroom was stained and the single beds were a little too narrow. The typical hotel breakfast was OK.

Outdated rooms, sauna in basement, sink smelled, sauna not included in price and needed to be booked (in 45 mins intervals). Double bed was two single beds together

the staff were all very helpful and friendly. the double room was comfortable and with a very nice view out on a courtyard and cathedral. they lent us bikes which was fun and there was no extra charge. the breakfast is excellent and parking provided was very useful.

just be aware that there is a cooling system in the bedrooms but not a full blown modern air-condition unit. fine if you keep the bedroom window closed all the time.

Lovely deluxe room, was very clean and centrally located. Good breakfast and a beautiful building.

Impressive entrance! We were lucky to have a large and very comfortable bed. The onsite pub was quite good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is right in the centre of town. The breakfast wasn’t bad, but they would not fry me an egg!

The rooms and passages were rather tired and need more maintenance or a complete update. There is limited parking. No coffee machines or kettles in the rooms. Pointless ”Pillow menu” as all the pillows in our room were the same. Although they say the hotel has AC, the rooms are NOT airconditioned. We booked and prepaid for a ”Love Package” that never arrived! We await a refund. The rooms are far from soundproof and we could hear our neighbours quite clearly even at normal speaking levels. We plan to visit Västerås again, but doubt whether we will stay here again.
