Closest motel to the railway station. Nice that the motel provides free transport to the railway station at 7.30am to catch the 8.15am Tranzalpine. There are many food outlets on Lincoln Road just a 10min walk from the motel. The tasty and affordable Afghan Restaurant is nearby. The couple that run the motel is friendly enough. Shower had instant heating.

The springs in the queen bed rolls together when one person moves or gets up, interupting the other person sleeping. They provide capsule milk which is not enough and not the best for morning cereal. It was a cold winter night and the wall heater was just not strong enough. Had to switch on the small wall heat pump as well to get some warmth. No hair dryer in the room. The shower spray was not strong enough.

The shower drain was blocked and I needed to unblock it by removing the trap. The previous occupants had wet the bedroom carpet because the shower flooded into the bedroom. The hot water was pathetic. The road noise was high. There was no ironing board.

Hot water was non existent. We could not have showers even though we followed the instructions for the hot water system. Left at 8.00 & reception was not open

No towels had to ask. No spare pillow. No soap in bathroom. Asked for service everyday they didn’t make the bed 1st day or top soap up. Had to ask for towels first day and extra pillow. Serviced room second day made the bed but someone was drinking milk in our room and left it there. Told receptionist and she said was the cleaner and laughed. Stained bedding and towels. Broken window and lights in bathroom.

The motel was convenient for the station, which is why we chose it. The room was clean and comfortable but basic.

The location was not particularly pleasant - busy roads, no interesting shops or cafes nearby.

Great location for attending an event at Wolfbrook Arena.

The room was NOT clean! Cobwebs in kitchen, thick layer of dust on light shade above the bed, mould on net curtains across the sliding door, mould and dirt on shower curtain. This is not a 4-star facility. Payment was taken from our card the day BEFORE we arrived with no notification and they would not refund this and allow us to pay with a different card on arrival and they still have not responded to messages sent via booking.com

Location is great, comfortable beds. Good TV.

The shower needs some work, the base will break soon. Carpark is very tight with small spaces
