As expected, the rooms are very confty and the spa is amazing. The breakfast is one of the best in Wallis!!

Very sensitive hotel property. Less staff and very strict rules. Charged penalty.

For a spa hotel I expected a dressing gown, slippers in my room together with nice spa soap…nope! The shower was in a bathtub with extremely high sides. Easy for an older person to fall. There were broken tiles and damp in the bathtub. Breakfast was nothing special. Reception was mostly closed. Would not stay here again!

The Staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. The Breakfast was OUTSTANDING and the Cafeteria Room Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I would recommend Hotel Alex for all who wish to have a very enjoyable, comfortable weekend stay. I will be happy to return there.

The hours of the SPA were a little bit "complicated", and one of the Staff members there was particularly RUDE (maybe she just had a BAD day), and she was NOT representative of the exceptionally friendly service of the other Hotel Personnel.

Nice hotel, with very nice spa facilities and very welcoming staff. We had new year's eve dinner at the hotel and food was very good (and nicely presented). Breakfast, continental type, with high variety of dishes and also of good quality. Overall a very nice experience!

Breakfast was ok according to usual standards and given the price paid Location of hotel and parking is good on the way back from Aletsch Arena

Everything is very old inside the building, furniture is very old and oldfashioned, bed are not comfortable to sleep on and the access to the shower in the bathroom could be hard for elder people. At least it was clean. As a client from Booking you have only access to a 50% reduction to the SPA access, for which price is the highest I've ever seen in Switzerland. Moreover there is a distinction between the SPA (saunas) and the swimming pool... And if you want to access both it's even more expensive... I do not recommand to choose this hotel for the SPA, despite the fact it is mentionned in the title it is clearly missleading.
