Everything about the hotel was lovely. The room was a nice size. It was clean and smelled fresh. The decor was warm and inviting. The staff was warm and friendly and even provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco for my birthday, which was lovely. Breakfast was provided and it was plentiful. Happy hour each evening was a nice way to unwind and relax from the day's activities. Overall we loved the stay and would definitely return.

The only issue was we placed the do not disturb sign on the door. We didn't need service since we were there for only two days, however, when we came back to the room, the sign was removed from outside and placed back inside the door. The room was tidied and some things were moved around. We truly expected the sign to be honored.

The staff were fantastic, we came in late at 10:30pm and were starving so they booked us a local restaurant who had actually shut at at 11 just to take care of us. Amazing effort team!

Everything was better than expected. The staff was very accommodating and the happy hour and great breakfast were more than basic perks. We highly recommend Hotel David.

The hotel itself was a piece of art. It has an Italian charm from the first moment you step in the hall. The staff was super friendly and kind. Everything that we asked for, they delivered with huge smile. When it comes to the amenities, they had a full drink service 24/7 (free and some paid drinks depending on what you wanted on the place). There is always free water available to refill your bottles and free coffee and tea at all times. The room was spacious and had excellent views to the mountains and city with fully renovated bathrooms. They also have elevator! Important factor when it comes to old Italian buildings.One of the things that we liked the most is that during the evening, there is something called as "happy hour" that gave the opportunity to drink local wines for free with some snacks at the hotel. This was AMAZING to come back to the hotel after all day visiting Florence landmarks and have a good rest sipping a bit of local wine.When it comes to the car parking, it was super easy as they have a private parking in their property and it was for free, which is very rare to have in Florence.Its not far away from the city center around 10-15 min however, there are 2 bus stops right outside the hotel that takes you there in less than 5. The front desk even sells the bus tickets, so you dont need to worry about finding the place to buy them.Overall the experience in Hotel David was simply AMAZING. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful location set just out of town. Lots of included items including wonderful breakfast and happy hour with nice snacks. Definitely increases the value for your money.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's close to the historic city center, so you can easily walk to the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is extremely important in Florence. In the afternoon, they offer an hour of socializing with complimentary drinks, coffee, and snacks for hotel guests. They truly take care of their guests' well-being. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are renovated and nicely furnished.
