The staff from the time we checked in was excellent helpful nothing was to much to much to do, always had a smile on there face Tarron, night porter Steve BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, will be coming back.
Only one problem we went down to the pool on Sunday and the chlorine was so strong it was stining my eyes and my fiancé it burnt her eyelashes off, and her eyelids are sore, had to apply Vaseline to help ease the pain.

For our family Hempstead House Hotel & Restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us. We can definitely say that we will be back to stay and use the lovely Spa facilities. Also as we had a big party with us we were allocated a private room with the set menu. Lovely Food

Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent food (including delicious vegan options) in the Lakes restaurant. The lounge areas are nice and cosy! Great location a short drive from beautiful city of Canterbury.
Room temperature was hard to control - was set at 24 degrees when we arrived and like an oven! Would have been nice if the room had had a small fridge.

We had a very comfortable room and a well-appointed bathroom. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Overall; it was a very comfortable hotel with well tended grounds.
The creakiness of the floor above the bedroom and the inconsiderate occupants of that room.
A more varied menu for evening meals. The current menu was fine for overnight stays

More like a five star .food was lovely staff very attentive wore white gloves when serving which was nice .room was lovely clean light the toiletries were good quality smelt very nice .the spa was excellent the pool lovely .breakfast had all you need the fry up was very nice the sausages were good quality again staff were excellent and there's plenty of them which is good. Definitely staying again very good value .

First day cooked breakfast was excellent.
Diner in Restaurant (private room) was excellent couldn't be faulted.
2nd day breakfast (9am sitting) some cooked items were too pre cooked.

Reception was friendly. You get free entry to the spa which had a small pool, sauna and steam room as well as an outdoor area. I booked a facial and it was excellent. Breakfast was good, though there could have been a few more cooked options.
I could hear the people who were staying in the rooms either side of me. Luckily I wasn't above the bar or restaurant.
