Good location if driving

Beachy Rise is perfectly located for The Downs and Eastbourne. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast of my choice was very good and nice fresh coffee too. I was only visiting for one night, and on my own, so Beachy Rise suited me perfectly as a safe and comfortable place to stay with easy access by car to everywhere I needed to go to in Eastbourne. Useful to note though is that parking around the house is limited d to 2 hours between 8 and 6 so without a parking permit you would not be able to leave the car all day at the location. I would happily stay again and would reccomend.

I forgot o mention to the host that the shower runs to hot and cold on the setting and didn’t seem possible to control. The hose is kinked at the end by the shower head which possibly affects flow but anyway it’s was a case if dodging the very hot and then cold water and trying to find the bit i between in which to wash.

Happy with room, location and breakfast was lovely! Owners were very welcoming and lovely too!

Cosy, family-run accommodation in a residential area close to the coastal walk and not far from the city centre. We also enjoyed the good English breakfast.

Good location, clean room. Tea/coffee provided in room and fantastic Breakfast.

The mattress was too soft on one of the twin beds. Other than that, lovely room with a view!

Excellent breakfast, peaceful with a pleasing attention to detail to ensure guests’ needs were well-catered for. Good location for enjoying Meads, with its excellent pubs and useful shopping area. Also for exploring Beachy Head, a short drive away.

We were fortunate to find a parking place in a quiet road nearby - this may not be so easy in high season.

A kind welcome and beautifully warm on a freezing cold night. Accomodation comfortable and peaceful. Suzanne and family were very friendly, breakfast was good with a varied menu. Near shops, pubs and restaurants and a short walk to the beachfront.
