Beautiful setting with a modern complex surrounding a historic 17th century hacienda. Lush gardens with abundant bird life, even hummingbirds. Excellent service and delicious food.
Early ?2000s buildings are really showing their age, but still comfortable. Some rooms very musty....
The Inkaterra hotel nearby is much nicer (impeccable, true 5* luxury). Aranwa is only worth it if you can get a good discount on their standard room rates.

Beautiful picturesque hotel property with good quality food for lunch & dinner.
It would have been nice if breakfast had more variety. Also the mosquitos were annoying.

What an amazing stay! This hotel blew me away. There's so much to discover on the property grounds as this is an old colonial structure. There are little museums and art and even an orchid greenhouse. The food was spectacular. The service was excellent and the spa was great! It is so reasonably priced. My 4 hours in the spa ended up costing less than $200 and I got a massage, a facial, and did a water circuit which included hot and steam sauna, three different pools at different temperatures, and three different showers. It was so amazing! Also if you speak Spanish get the cocoa leaf reading with the local shaman Juana who is very very sweet and 100% accurate. There's even a church on site that you can climb up to the Bell Tower and sit inside and look at the property. There are parrots and tons of birds and little pools everywhere. As a solo traveler, I had their basic room and this included a Jacuzzi tub and towel warmer. After a long day at Machu Picchu it was bliss. It's impossible to know how wonderfully extensive the grounds are based on the pictures on the website. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I will definitely stay with this brand again when I come back to Peru. Also the hotel arranged for all my transportation and it was such a relief to just show up and to have drivers waiting for me. It was all a very reasonable price and I am so thankful for my stay there.
I didn't love seeing the llamas being chained up.

The food was so good, the scenery, spa and staff were marvelous
The room was not like what we booked even though they gave us an upgrade. The room was not clean and was full of mosquitoes. They did clean it after we informed them.

I loved everything about the hotel. The food at the restaurant is excellent and all the accommodations including the spa are amazing. I also want to mention the hotel staff for being so professional and kind. I must also mention Elizabeth who works at the restaurant. Even though we only met for two days, I will always remember her for being so sweet, genuine, and professional.
The wifi can be faster but that's the only negative thing I could ever say about this hotel.

Friendly service minded staff, beautiful and quiet surroundings, comfortable bed, jacuzzi, tasty food. Overall a feeling of great luxury.
Far from the most popular places like Cusco and Machu Picchu.

We went to this hotel for a couple of days at the end of a two week trip. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in with beautiful facilities and gardens and lovely friendly attentive staff. Food was nice in restaurant and prices reasonable
Service in evening meal was sometimes a little slow, main pool was far too cold to swim in but they heated the jacuzzi which was big enough for kids to have a splash about in

the facilites where impecable, wide spread and a lot of green. very well mixed with a bautiful landscape.
maybe the atention policy, its a very good hotel. but seems to be new, their protocols seems to be good but it doesnt feel like a pro-hotel business branch protocol. those types of thing you only gain with time.
