We recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn with our young family, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Traveling with young children can be challenging, and I was particularly concerned about getting around the city. However, the hotel took care of all our transportation needs seamlessly, which made our stay so much more relaxed. The food spread was excellent, with a variety of delicious options that catered to both adults and kids alike. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the menu, ensuring that everyone found something they loved. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the entire team. A special mention goes to Girieesh, who was proactive in asking for feedback and swift in addressing minor feedback I provided on the first day. Thanks to him, our requests were resolved quickly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly helpful, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making our stay as pleasant as possible. Whether it was arranging activities or simply checking in on us, they made us feel truly welcomed.

The location and the food.

Cleanliness. The property had a washed out feel. It was not shiny enough. As I walked through the corridor the carpets were old. I was feeling hot especially during the day. As I just opened the door what I noticed was that the bedsheets were not white enough. Most probably time has taken its toll. It’s high time you changed it. In short I felt that the entire property needs an overhaul.

Breakfast was phenomenal, one of the staff Gokul provide us with exceptional service , he really made the score for holiday inn go up! the room was clean.

The service is extremely slow and sometimes the front desk never picked up the call. for example i had to call twice to get a converter. coffee ( took half an hour) even during breakfast you order an omelette . It takes forever. The dinner was awful , one of the worst biryanis we have ordered for that price ( the chicken was burnt ). The next thing is the room card , we were only provided with one, so i had to ask for lift service to go up which was irritating when you pay alot for the room!

The location and the food service is good, the food quality very normal .

Not clean well inside the room and bathroom it’s very dirty, I payed for dinner and breakfast together while booking the room, after the checkout I was car the reception area the lady come and asking the money for dinner it was very strange for me, I was expected much more professional behaviour since it’s an international brand.

Breakfast was good. Property was very clean, beds were comfortable. Amenities in the room was good. Front office staff was exceptional.

Restaurant Staff were good and the front coffee shop service was good. Laundry service was pretty fast and clean. Weekend dinner was great. Spa was good. Valet parking crew was very helpul.

Location is very good. Right in the city if you are looking for a city holiday, so crowded and noisy. We chose this because it suited us, but if you are looking for a peaceful holiday, then sea side near the fort area is better. Hotel is a bit dated.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn property in Kochin and I must say, it was a truly disappointing experience. I was there for two nights during the festival of Onam, and to my dismay, the hotel completely lacked any semblance of joy or celebration for the occasion. Firstly, let's talk about the room. I was assigned room number 704, which was anything but impressive. Not only was there no shaving kit, but the lighting in the washroom was far from the standard I expected. It felt dingy and poorly maintained, leaving me with a less than satisfactory experience. To make matters worse, the utter lack of basic amenities left me flabbergasted. There was no note pad, no pen, and not even a pencil in the room. As a business traveler, I rely on these simple amenities to jot down important notes and reminders. The absence of these essentials was a clear indication of the hotel's negligence in providing a comfortable and convenient stay. But the icing on the cake was the key card situation. My key card did not work, which meant I had to wait for a whopping 45 minutes near the lift just to have it replaced. The incompetence displayed by the staff in handling this matter was utterly frustrating. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I decided to take matters into my own hands and went down to the reception to get a new card myself. As if these disappointments weren't enough, the hotel failed to fulfill a simple request I had made for a packed breakfast at 3 am. I had an early departure at 3:30 am and needed some sustenance before my journey. However, despite my prior arrangement, the hotel conveniently forgot to provide me with the breakfast, leaving me hungry and dissatisfied. Overall, the Holiday Inn property in Kochin is a substandard hotel for substandard guests. I can assure you that booking a stay here would be a grave mistake.
