The Hotel is situated on the Rio Baru a short bumpy ride from Dominical. set in extensive gardens with varied wildlife on the edge of forest. Ideal for Nature lovers, I saw a neotropical otter in the river outside the Hotel, as well as families as it has 2 nice pools. The room was on the small side and did not have any room to store suitcases, so we had to store them at the side of the bed. The beds were comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was buffet style with limited choice but was adequate. The coffee was very good. All in all a pleasant Hotel which is Average value for money.
Unmade road from Hotel into Dominical. Dominical town was a disappointment but the beach further south is very good.

The gardens are beautiful, we felt surrounded by nature. We saw lots of birds, iguanas, squirrels, frogs... The rooms are well placed in the property, with a nice balcony (with a fridge ) to sit and feel the nature around you. There are two pools, one quieter than the other so you can always choose. Breakfast is nice but it's not buffet type. Cleaning was also good
The guy in the reception didn't show us the room when we checked in and we weren't offered help with the luggage. It was dark and we were a bit lost looking for the room whilst carrying the luggage. Anyways, it's just a detail. Room decoration is a bit outdated too

The rooms with basic kitchen facilities were great, enjoyed the pools and breakfast was really nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful with any questions. It's a super quiet area and would definitely stay again.
It's a little far from town (only about 15 mins walk) but when it's super hot, its nice to be closer. Still a nice flat walk though if you need to.

The daily included breakfast was wonderful. There were quite a few options that were fresh and delicious. Plenty of hot coffee and fresh fruit, too. The grounds were immaculate as were the rooms. We didn’t mind the drive down the somewhat rocky road because it was nicely maintained and we knew we would be experiencing it before we booked the room. It was a nice buffer between the cozy little town and us.
I wish it were a non-smoking facility only because our neighbors seemed to be smoking every time we entered or exited our room, so their smoke was always there.

The place is really amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Be aware that the restaurant, while very good and with amazing staff was a bit pricey.
Also a small pressure issue with hot water in one of our rooms.

The place is very nice, it is under construction. so hopefully it will be much nicer. Breakfast was good. The people were nice we had problems with the internet and someone came to fix it quickly.
I didn’t like the smell that the bathroom has, its horrible. The fridge didn’t work,so I was not able to put my insulin in it. The AC was leaking. I don’t know if they are aware of those problems but I think they should check that everything works before putting people in the rooms. But they make you sign a paper charging 500 dollars for damages on the sheets. anyways

We love this place. The beautiful garden, the rooms are specious and its nice you have your own patio where you can sit in the evening listening to the rain. The big Pool is lovely.
The airconditioning didnt work well and because we had a room far from the reception the WIFI didnt work.

Very nice hotel near domynical beach.
2 pools. Staff is kind.
You can see a lot of animals from and around the hotel. We saw a few couples of red aras and red head iguanas! Beautiful.
Very good hotel for families.
Music too lound in the restaurant specially in the morning…

The room was fine but the best part was outside of it. Beautiful hotel garden, very entertaining for families with young kids (pool, minigolf, pool table, foosball table, easy forest trail for hiking, bathing in the river close by, loads of animals to see. Staff was super friendly and helpful - food in the restaurant really good.

Room #414 was great. It was far away from the other rooms, pool, and the noisy restaurant. It had a huge deck. The free breakfasts were great.
The food was very expensive at the restaurant. People walked to town to eat. This is more of a resort than a jungle lodge. There was only one trail to walk on.

I had loud younger people in other room in the tri-plex one and couldn't go to sleep till way late.

Facilities were nice and clean,the pool was always very clean,rooms are large have ac,fan,tv and refri in it.
We really enjoyed our stay even extended one more night.
While we were enjoying the pool, we were able to see many beautiful birds coming to the trees around the pools,like toucans hummingbirds,parrots..
Coctails were not that great,they could use better rum and liquer
A suggestion to the facility: maybe some board games can be added
