Wat een geweldig uitzicht! Vanuit je hotelkamer en vanuit een prachtige gemeenschappelijke buitenruimte kijken naar de apen, toekans en andere dieren. Wat een cadeautje om hier te zijn. Hele fijne hosts en een heerlijk ontbijt.

De kamer zelf was wat basic

Ein wunderschönes Paradies, schön angelegte Gemeinschaftsbereiche (Frühstück, Pool, Bar), ansprechende Villen mit Dschungelblick von der eigenen Veranda. Alles sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Liebevoll zusammengestelltes leckeres Frühstück. Man erhält Vorschläge für Unternehmungen und auf Wunsch auch Reservierungen.

Einziger Punkt: Die Anlage ist nur unweit von der Strasse entfernt gelegen. Man hört den Straßenverkehr. Dafür mit dem Auto leicht erreichbar. Ein Restaurant ist nicht vorhanden, soll aber demnächst eröffnet werden.

Hostess Vanessa is so caring, relaxed and cool, we immediately felt at home. The walk to the beach is a great adventure (15 minutes through the jungle), we were able to observe great animals almost continuously (monkeys without end!). Great breakfast, great view from the balcony, overall a very good vibe there. Supermarket and fine restaurants are right next door, we definitely recommend staying here for a few nights.

It was a beautiful location. We were impressed with the wildlife and the monkeys that came in to join us for breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. The hosts were lovely and took care of our needs.

If we stay there again, we would love to have an outside with a larger deck balcony sitting area because we were between two rooms and it felt a little congested. The only downside for us was that it was too close to the highway, and you could hear the semi trucks as they were quite noisy. And it rained the night before said the red Clay Trail to the ocean, was slippery and unpassable in the morning

Perfectly maintained perch on the top of a hill amidst rainforest and exotic plants. Quiet private villa screened from neighbors by lovely heliconias and ginger plants. The property neighbors the tortuga reserve so is visited by birds and monkeys. A small pool is great for lounging. Property managers Vanessa and Nicholas were most accommodating arranging transport and excursions to nearby activities and dining. Breakfast was a nice choice of typical tican or French toast ir American. Our villa was furnished with all the necessities and made up each day with fresh towels.

Since we didn’t have a car, we were a bit isolated and limited in where we could walk for a beach, shopping or dinner. The walk to the “beach” is beautiful but tortuous and not to be made at night. There is no place to swim at the ocean and to reach the beach one must climb over fallen and drifted brush after a long walk. We would return only with a car as the walk to nearby dining is a bit daunting at night.

Piece of paradise - full of greenery, wild animals around, beautiful sunset ocean view across the forest. Very nice welcoming hosts, great service, clean and tidy. Very clean swimming pool surrounded by abundant vegetation. Best part was when we saw a bunch of white-headed monkeys in the morning coming to say "hi" and pick some bananas from the restaurant :) Our hosts recommended a wonderful nearby restaurant with delicately elaborated fusion cuisine dishes!

The location of this property is second to none. The pool is well maintained and surrounded by beautiful plants. The rooms are spotless The owners Vanessa and partner are very friendly and helpful. The terrace where you can have breakfast is very comfortable and has a wonderful view of the forest and the sea. There are fresh flowers on the table in the morning. I would score Vila’s en el bosque 10/10 and would 100% recommended staying here.

If you don’t have a car it can be challenging to Walt for food in the humidity. I would recommend getting a taxi and buying provisions. There are some excellent food choices nearby and lots of taxi options.

Obiekt to kilka domków umiejscowionych na porośniętej dziką roślinnością skarpie doliny rzeki, na którą wychodzą tarasy doomków. Z tarasu można było codziennie podziwiać przylatujące ptaki i małpy skaczące po drzewach. Na taras docierają też odgłosy fal oceanu. Miło spędzaliśmy wieczory na tarasie. Wspaniali gospodarze codziennie podpytywali, czy nie pomóc w zaplanowaniu dnia, pomogli nam w zarezerwowaniu wycieczki do Corcovado. Dzięki nim uczestniczyliśmy również w corocznym wypuszczeniu młodych żółwi do oceanu. Codziennie również serwowane było pyszne śniadanie na tarasie dość dużej wspólnej przestrzeni przy kuchni. Całość obiektu usytuowana jest na skarpie, z której można zejść do lokalnego "rezerwatu" (nie znam oficjalnego statusu tej przestrzeni), gdzie można spotkać mnóstwo ptaków i małp. Nasz domek składał się zamykanej sypialni z działającą klimatyzacją (w szafie sejf) oraz dużym pomieszczeniem z rozkładaną sofą, kuchnią, umywalką i przejściem do łazienki. W kuchni dostępna była lodówka, kuchenka mikrofalowa, kuchenka gazowa, ekspres do kawy i toster. Obiekt jest znakomicie zlokalizowany, pozwalając traktować miejsce jako punkt startowy do zwiedzania zarówno obszarów na południe (min. Rezerwat Corcovado) jak i na północ (Nauyaca waterfalls, Uvita, Dominical).

Nie należy się przywiązywać do myśli o spędzaniu czasu na lokalnej plaży. Przejście do niej zajmuje 15 minut przez błotnistą ścieżkę przez dżunglę i nie należy to do najprzyjemniejszych przeżyć, jeśli chcesz po prostu dostać się na plażę. Oczywiście jeśli zależy Ci na zrobieniu zdjęć małp w naturze lub doświadczenia przygody pośród piaszczystych łach w delcie rzeki, to jest to świetne miejsce. Jeśli chcesz po prostu pojechać na plażę, wybierz jedną z wielu dostępnych w okolicy w odległości kilku kilometrów na północ. Obiekt wymaga też odświeżenia, ale widzieliśmy, że nasi gospodarze, którzy przejęli to miejsce dosłownie miesiąc wcześniej, z ogromną energią wzięli się do pracy i jestem przekonany, że z każdym tygodniem to miejsce będzie coraz doskonalsze. W każdym razie polecam to miejsce i z przyjemnością tam właśnie byśmy sie zatrzymali gdybyśmy byli w tej okolicy po raz kolejny.

Wij hebben hier echt een fantastische tijd beleefd. De host was zeer vriendelijk en stond altijd paraat om ons te helpen bij het vinden van een gids, mooie locaties of goeie bars en restaurantjes. Het ontbijt was altijd heel verzorgd en erg lekker. De omgeving is echt prachtig. Elke ochtend was er bij het ontbijt wildlife te spotten. Het volede voor ons elke dag een beetje als thuiskomen.

It is a magical place. The villa is super comfortable in the middle of nature, the decoration is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, the kitchen is well arranged and the owner is super nice. There are beautiful beaches around. You can also easily spend the day at the villa and enjoy the pool and your terrace.

There's a lot to like - the jungle setting and regular visits by the howler monkeys and scarlet macaws, the breakfasts were made to order and delicious, and the hotel manager Lisa, was super helpful in terms of recommendations of things to do, tours to take, places to eat.

The hotel manager was exceptional. She was super friendly and had lots of great advice and recommendations. Macaws and monkeys could be seen and heard daily.

We booked a room for 3 people. The room was small and had one and not very comfortable double bed. The other squeaky folding bed was so small that an adult could not even stretch on it. Really disappointing...

Everything about our stay was exceptional! The walk through the jungle to the beach was wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious. Lisa, the manager, and Matt, were wonderful hosts and very accommodating.

Landscaping was gorgeous. ait was secluded but easy to get to. Waterfall, sunset on beach, restaurants and mangrove tour recommendations by Lisa were all highlights of our stay. Beach trail from villa was lovely! Breakfasts were phenomenal and the best we’ve had in Costa Rica so far. Wi-Fi was good in Villa.

The villa we stayed in was modern, had a/c, and was cleaned regularly. The property bordered on a reserve with trails in the forest and to the beach. There are parrots, toucans, aracari, trogans and countless other birds. The pool was clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was amazing! The manager was wonderful and helped us plan our days out. She knew where to go for tours and where to eat at the best restaurants. The internet was very reliable. It was a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful breakfast included, great staff and owner, monkeys and birds everywhere. Short walk to the beach through the jungle. Long sandy beach at low tide, great for long walks. 15 minute walk to restaurants. Many options for meals if you have a car.

Loud vehicle traffic from nearby highway. But got used to the noise after the first night.

Beautiful location. We photographed toucans, monkeys and macaws in the same area we ate breakfast. Lisa insured we were well taken care of and allowed us to customize our breakfast order each day.

The breakfasts were wonderful, basically made to order. From a typical Costa Rican breakfast to banana pancakes, all was delicious! The manager, Lisa, was very helpful about things to do and see, and she made the stay as comfortable as could be. Being hidden away in the midst of the rainforest was a delightful experience, tranquil and quiet, with just the sounds of the forest. The AC worked well, and the bed was quite comfortable.

I wish the lighting in the room had been better. Visitors should be aware that the driveway is steep and single lane.
