Jacuzzi bath was so relaxing. Stunning location & beautiful property. Dog friendly. Nice host. Nearby scenic walks. Romantic hideaway. Also a very good indian close by.

A great getaway for a few days

A couple of minor issues that didn't affect our enjoyment

Lovely cosy cottage, very clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. The spa bath was so nice after a long cold day of walking! We'll definitely recommend.

Lighting was poor to get ready in the evenings several lights not working While no internet is not a problem there was absolutely no phone signal at the property either - makes life difficult to book activities keep in touch with relatives etc Electric fire in the lounge smelt terrible and did not do anything when on

Loved the decor it took us away from our contemporary environment. Everything we needed was available such as toiletries, towels, clothes, hand-wash. So peaceful and comfortable.

We were pre warned however I do think for the price you'd automatically get at least a full 24hrs and descent TV reception.

This 17th C converted barn is a wonderful place to escape from modern life! Full of character . The cottage was warm and comfortable and well-equipped.The location amidst the Dales countryside and picturesque hamlets is perfect for a peaceful and romantic break.

Superb location, peaceful and with beautiful views. Lovely walks in the local area and plenty of historical places to visit nearby. The cottage was perfect, well equipped and very comfortable, especially the huge bed.

The location and the cottage was fantastic. It was such a peaceful and tranquil break. The walks along the canal were very relaxing.

There was nothing to dislike apart from the weather

Quality of furnishings and linen/towels. Very comfy four poster bed, jacuzzi bath. Relaxing with candles. Balcony with pretty flowers, looking across at a beautiful view. Look forward to returning.

Having to leave.

Spacious accommodation for a couple with large bed and large sitting room. Big shower and bath. Very friendly neighbours. Off the beaten track, so ideal for us, but all the local amenities only 5 minutes away in Gargrave. Well placed for many and varied local sites from cheese to canals to castles - we had a full week and there was still plenty we still didn't get to see so a great location for exploring. Highly recommended.

The bed was a little on the hard side for us, but a good size.

Wonderful local walks - nice little balcony with table and chairs - very spacious rooms - nice spa bath and the shower was lovely! Easy to get a taxi to take us to the Bull at Broughton where we had an excellent meal.

Boiler needed constant resetting but owners were waiting engineer's visit - could do with more working lights in bedroom. Also it would be good to know beforehand that there was no internet.

The room was excellent. Very nicely furnished and very large. The location was brilliant and peaceful. Amazing value. We definitely come back
