The car park attendant gave us secure undercover parking for our motorcycles near his office, which we were not charged extra for. Breakfast was great if you are a westerner and like buffet style, with a choice of cooked or cereals. Toyama sits between the ocean and the Japanese alps, which were covered in snow when we were there. The wind was chilly, but the contrast of sea on one side and snow capped mountains on the other was quite unusual.

Finding food at night. Both restaurants that were near (attached building) were recommended by hotel staff, but completely booked out. The hotel itself had a daytime eatery that closed at 5pm and another area for breakfast, but did not offer anything for evenings. Toyama doesn't seem to be a tourist city, so there was a noticeable lack of the use of English in signage and out the front of restaurants compared to other cities like Tokyo and Kyoto. Google translate was okay, but added a degree of difficulty to everything.

The staff was very polite. The position of the hotel is very close to the main railway station and also there is a tramway station directly in front of the hotel. Everything was super clean. They offer you a japanese or european breakfast.

The room was relatively small.

The quality of room was poor. The air wasn’t well ventilated and the bedding had stains. Even the furniture hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Breakfast and the onsen were good. As others have said, only the men’s has a city view of the mountains.

The colour scheme of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Also the height between the floor and the bathroom was quite high and the floor dipped so both my partner and I slipped multiple times stepping out of it. The bedsheets and pillows were only okay.

The room was spacious and somehow only the men’s onsen provided spectacular views of the mountains shown on the main page of the hotel. The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site parking price is comparable to the neighbouring public parking lots in the area.

The women’s onsen didn’t provide any views of the mountains and was very small.

Easy access to many attractions around the area

Only the side dishes are available at the buffet..

Parking on site is good. Big public bath area.

Hotel a bit dated.

Clean and comfortable double room, enough for one person. Very kind personal but they could improve their english.

If I don't want my room cleaned then I also don't need new towels, which I got anyway hanged on the door. I find this unnecessary and not good for the environment.
