Location was within reasonable walking distance to CBD Plenty of parking, although our park was not outside unit

The unit felt cold even though heatpump on fairly high. Would've liked a mirror in bedroom - only one was in bathroom

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and left on the table were some sweets and a box of shortbread, because it was Matariki weekend. What a lovely gesture. Kids enjoyed the pool and table tennis room and loved the spa. Within walking distance of town, so perfect location.

This motel doesn't look like how it looks in the photos.. Old property..

Would have been better to spent 40 more $ and book a room with lake view..

Lovely and fresh and clean. Well equipped.

Only gripe is the internal AC unit fan is a little noisy, likely a bearing failure. Also the toilet seems to leak (a coloured liquid) from the toilet foot, but both are trivial in comparison to everything else.

We were to arrive late in the night and Colin had the room heated for us when we arrived, it had everything for us to rest in for the night before our next travels early in the morning. location was perfect too!

was quite over priced and found it odd that all heating in the room was turned off and blinds opened while we were out, it was really cold so took ages to warm up again when we got back to the room.

Self-contained, clean, and tidy. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Had a spa and pool. We didn't get to use the pool, but they had offered it, even if their season is over with the pool. You get towels provided from the office, which is great. We had a 2 bedroom as me and a friend meet up. Was great having our own space. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice and warm. Loved the couches that both had their own blankets to use if a little cold. Lots of comfy cushions. Will happily use this accommodation again and recommend to anyone going to Taupō.

Would be nice to have the option of 2 large beds in both rooms. However, it was clearly stated that this wasn't an option in 2 bedrooms. Would like to see the shower updated to let more light in as rather dark, even during the day.

Great size apartment for two mates needing different rooms. Sky tv movies and most importantly, Sport available. Big bathroom. We walked 8 mins to beers and dinner in town. Perfect 😊 ⁿ Excellent value for money

Everything was awesome

The new owner was very welcoming and keen to please. The accommodation has great facilities for kids with a huge trampoline and a games room which has table tennis and a pool table.

The bathroom was very tired and bottles in shower would benefit from labels, to distinguish what each one is.

great location overlooking the lake and mountains. good access to the event we were in town for. comfortable space, comfortable bed.

the spiral stairs to the unit and the deck were a little dodgy and probably need some maintenance. very creaky floors.

The Motel was an older style Motel but I was very impressed with how clean and tidy it was

Air condition unit was a bit noisy could not be left on at night.
