Apart from a small booking glitch which was promptly resolved, the property exceeded our expectations. Quite, clean, well set out, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great location

We had had this motel recommended to us by a friend and we were just delighted with it. We stayed in an upstairs room with a kitchenette, including a hot plate and microwave. I believe this wing was built about 2 years ago and was lovely and modern. Excellent shower in large bathroom.

Our favourite accommodation of six we used during a 2 week holiday touring the north island. Friendly welcoming hosts, clean modern room (we had 5 nights in room 11) with uninterrupted view of lake Taupo and the three snow covered mountains beyond. Self catering is possible through we chose to make the most of the numerous eateries in town many of which are within walking distance. We would stay here again.

The location to the town was perfect, parked the car at the motel, and we would walk as it was so close. The room was cozy, spa tub was great. Overall the 2 day trip was perfect. 🙂

This motel is in such a convenient location with a short walk into the town where you will find many shops, cafes and restaurants. The actual room was very spacious and well proportioned. Everything was spotlessly clean and very tidy. Parking was great and plenty of it. Next time I am in Taupo, I will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Room was like brand new. Extremely nice with full mysky and really comfortable bed. Shower was AMAZING (we upgraded to a 2 bedroom upstairs - and stayed 2 nights)

Location was great in front of waterfront and also very accommodating with a later check in time.

Like the location close to town good walking distance to grab food clean and tidy nice back outside area everything was up to standard

I didn't like that the room didn't gave the view directly you more had to stand in the drive way to see the view of the lake

The only negative we had was no underfloor heating under the tiles in the bathroom and the toilet being so close to the wall, you practically sat on the toilet roll holder....

The resultant room which was the one we had booked was nice. We had originally been given an unserviced unit which had the incorrect beds - luckily the correction gave us what we had booked. The unit was well appointed and great location.
