I had a lovely stay, the room was really clean and the food was delicious. Above all the hosts were so kind, i got to do some birdwatching and some animal watching at night. I 100% recommend this guesthouse!

everything was perfect. Very quiet, clean and we can rent a bicycle to go to see the temples. Perfect!

The wifi was broken at the moment but we just need to walk not far away to get the 4g. it was under repair (wifi)

The host is really welcoming. Everything is high quality (meals, room, wifi..) Just at the hide exit of the sacred city to come back easily. He rents bikes too! He can drop you at the bus station if you ask. I recommend a lot.

No stay long enought!

One of the highlights of our whole trip! Opali and his family are pretty much the nicest, most welcoming people we ever met. Food was amazing and the room very spacious. We had great talks and Opali told us a lot about his life and Sri Lankas situation. He even did a night walk with us where we saw lots of animals. Also, the place is perfectly located if you want to visit the ancient city, you can even rent bikes directly at the house. In Polonnaruwa I would go there again any time. Highly recommended!!

This place is made with love, this is a real home outside of your own home, where you are a valued guest. when you meet the host, you’d definitely like to stay more. The room is the same as on the photos, Wi-Fi connection was good. The wild life around the property is great - we have seen deers, fireflies, monkeys, lizards, birds and their nest. In the evening we enjoyed the talks about everything with our host as he is a great companion. the special thanks to home made breakfast and dinner!!! During the dinner the first time I found the difference between spicy (when it is about taste of different spices) and enjoyed it vs spicy that I tried before and it was only about a fire in your mouth). I would really wish this place to flourish and attract new guests. Whenever I need a time for myself in nature I will definitely come back here again!
