Sehr ruhig gelegen, mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Die Terrasse mit Außenküche und Grill hat uns sehr gut gefallen

In der Küchr drinnen ist das Licht sehr schwach und man sieht beim kochen fast nichts.

Le calme, l'accueil. La maison est bien équipée, la terrasse est superbe avec une très jolie vue.

De ontvagst was vriendelijk,l en alles werd uitgelegd. Het huis was ruim en had een comfortabele bank, goed uitgeruste keuken en er was een heel ruim dakterras met ligstoelen tafel en stoelen en een keukendeel met grote barbecue

The host was very hospitable and helpful. The area around the house is very quiet so you can relax.

I liked the terrace and the view, the location is really nice if you have a car, beds are comfortable, the owner is very helpful it was not a problem that we had to change dates. The kitchen outside is more than perfect, you have woods for a barbecue. There is a washing machine, the kitchen is well equiped. It is a small village, you are like alone in the world. And the stars. Amazing.

But, everything smells on moist. Even the beds, when you open the drawers, for the dishes,this smell prevails. The kitchen definitely needs more light, since there is no windows. It is too dark, when you cook inside or wash dishes. And the garage is very hard to enter.. Too bad for the moist, because it is a wonderful little house. Too expensive compare to our stay in Canico.

The house is amazing, cozy, comfortable, super well equipped, very clean. Beautiful view, quiet area. Friendly reception by Dona Fátima. Couldn't be better, thanks again!

Everything was perfect, only minor thing is that the chimney of the outside grill does not evacuate the smoke perfectly.

We were looking for a quiet place where we could relax and this property certainly was a little off the beaten track. The rooms were basically furnished but comfortable and clean. The outdoor braai (barbecue) area was very welcome and the weather certainly lends itself to outdoor cooking and relaxing.

This may be a little too far away from 'civilisation' for many travellers - one needs to use the car to get pretty much anywhere. It takes some skill getting a car into the garage - don't try with a large sedan or estate! Disappointed to have no plug for the washroom basin nor the kitchen sink. Silly how small things like this can annoy...

Stunning location, the star attraction is the outside terrace with day-long sunshine and a view out to the sea. Outdoor bbq too, made for some great meals

Beds were not the most comfortable ever, but just fine.

We had five days in this property. The location is peaceful away from anything else. It is situated in a side road next to some other small houses in the countryside. Therefore a car is a must have. There is also the continuous relaxing sound of ground water flowing through in the road gutter day and night. The house interior is quite dull but the terrace is amazing ...unless it is windy. The terrace overlooks the countryside and the sea. If you are lucky you can also see the beautiful sunset too. In the terrace there is also a wood oven. This area is what the house is all about. The house comes with an interconnecting garage which is very convenient as there is nowhere to park. Fatima, the cleaning lady does a great job too as the house especially the bed sheets were very clean. Communication with Paolo Franco the owner was good too but we never met. There are a/c’s on both floors.

The ground floor is quite suffocating as there are no windows and is quite dull plus humid. A/c can compensate but there is still lack of light. The facilities need to be visited especially the kitchen utensils. They are dated and saucepans are very limited and some with broken handle too. The BBQ area is great and ample wood was provided but, we had to source our own matches and fire starters. BBQ utensils are also very limited, only some skewers and a piece of iron rode were available. Instructions on how to use the burners next to the BBQ will be useful too.

Lovely location and views. Great to have a wood fired pizza oven. Nice and relaxing space. Good communication with owner.

Very nice location for those searching real picture of Madeira´s life, rural, quiet and very safe. I really appreciate Paulo, owner, sending us tips and being really responsive, if you need anything. House is traditional with beautiful ocean view and enough space for the family with 2 children. Very good restaurant is about 6 minutes of drive. In this location, you will need definitely the car. Quite near there are many possibilities to see nice treks, lot of views, levadas. Very good location for those, who want to see as much as possible from this beautiful island.

Not a disadvantage, but you have to be careful entering the garage, if your car is lower. Not a big problem but can be little bit tricky :-)
