Location is pretty good, 10 minutes walking from a subway station. Room is simple but with good furnitures and perfect for someone who want a bed and a place to rest between visits. The kitchen have a big refrigerator and you can cook easily.

Not all the staff speak English, I called them for help finding the place and the lady basically answered me in Russian with "I don't speak English", well.. I don't speak russian so talking to me in Russian is useless, even to tell me that you don't speak English, and so fast like I was a native speaker. She was nice after but I thought was a great start! Also the noise. The isolation is bad, I could hear everything in the entrance and the corridor (and my room was the last one, so as far as possible from the entrance lobby) and when the guest in the room next to mine walked in their room, it was like they were in mine! First night I woke up because I thought someone was in my room! Also the night staff watching TV loudly and being on his phone having a call with speakers on until 23h and more! I had to go out of my room and scream at him to shut up, that it was past 23h and people wanted to sleep (I had to wake up at 4:30 in the morning!)and he just looked at me all surprised , can't believe I had to tell him about good manners like not making noisy calls after 22h.

Staff was very friendly and hуlpful. And to be honest I did not expect so large room with separete toilet & shower at all! My room was No 8. As I understand there are two such a rooms in this Hostel. May be I misunderstood, so better to check before confirmation. Air condition! there were 39 degrees celcius outside these days, so they just saved me :) Thanks guys!

I cannot highlight any valuable inconvinience. More than an interesting place for such an interesting price in such an interesting part of Almaty.

The room was clean and comfy enough. I just stayed 4 days and the room cleaned probably everyday.

Location. It's probably 10 minutes walking distance to metro station but the streets are very dark and deserted at night. I had to call taxi every night for returning to the hotel. It costs around 1000-1200 Tenge(2-4$). People say staffs aren't friendly but who cares, they weren't rude at the same time.
