double bed could be improved by a double mattress rather than two single ones

Nyati Hill Cottages are an oasis of calm much needed after a long flight. Views into Nairobi National Park were exceptional and you can see wildlife in the distance - giraffes, zebra, gazelle, buffaloes etc. Self catering facilities and meals cooked if you wanted. Very tasty dishes cooked by Mary. Chalo was on hand for any wants and needs - very efficient, professional and friendly. Mall with supermarket, shops etc about 20 mins. Highly recommend this place for short or long stay. A home from home. Bernard the driver was great & picked us up from the airport including our pet and drove us to the malls and into Nairobi. David the other driver was also great and drove us from Nyati to Mombasa. We felt safe and relaxed during this long trip to the coast

Remote position in a very quiet environment, looking at the Nairobi park. You can spot impalas, rhinoceros etc. from the garden by the pool! The cottages are comfy, well equipped (bed with mosquito net) with ensuite bathroom (with hot water!).. and the kitchen in front of the room allows you to prepare your own meals or to have dinner prepared by the cooker (Veronica is excellent! She will adapt to your taste and preferences and bring you the dishes right to your kitchen, we loved it!) The breakfast is self-service, you'll find milk, jam, fruit juice, cheese and eggs in the fridge + bananas/apples and brown bread with a nice toaster to prepare it.

The mattresses in the Impala cottage should be upgraded for harder ones.

Big kitchen, view to the park. Private during low season (we were the only visitors).

The location was excellent in terms of view to the park but it was quite remote and very bad road to access the hotel. Very light curtains in the room, the sun will wake you up. Which is not nice if you want to sleep in.
