Casa Pachamama was perfect. Close to the centre but away from the noise. Beautiful sunset from the patio.

Great location, walking distance to the best part of town, safe and quiet neighborhood, amazing view, super confortable bed, nice and hot shower and the best part, the feeling of being at home with your own family. Don Hugo and his coffee were the inspiration to start my day and meet amazing people just like him while enjoying the beauty of Salento.

Nice big bed with comfy pillows and blankets, the best hot water I had during my entire stay in Colombia, very nice staff, cozy and please feel to the property. Lots of great literature and inspiring messages/ art around!

It’s situated at the top of a huge hill so people who aren’t comfortable with climbing inclines should be aware of that before booking.

The owner was friendly. It’s a simple hotel. I had a private room and private bathroom. The water in the shower was always very hot. The rooms have thin walls and it got chilly at night in early August. There were 3 thin blankets on the bed but I was a little cold. The lighting in the room is very dim and the city turns dark early around 5 pm so the room was a little dark at 6 pm. But really no complaints and no regrets.

The only thing I didn’t like was how the room was damp and chilly and the lighting in the room was dim. But I have a feeling it was like this in all of the town. Really no serious complaints.

The owners of pachamama are super friendly and helpfull. Even when we arrrived verry late due to traffic jam, they received us welcomingly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a patio from where you can see Salento and the mountains. The place is calm. There are soms nice books about culture, meditation and healthy food. We recommend this place for a nice stay in Salento.

Lovely, cozy place with welcoming owners. Nice balcony with a view over Salento. Hot water! Close to everything, but in a quiet area.

It was cold at night, had to use several blankets. Bed light could be useful, there was only one general, super bright.

We liked everything, the room is very clean, comfortable and quiet. We would definetely come back. Don Hugo is such a nice host who helped us with everything we needed: information, transportation, etc. In the morning that we were going to Cocora Valley he was waiting for us very early with a cup of coffee. Casa pachamama is very close to the main streets of Salento but still in a quiet place where we could rest.

Great view, good location. Hugo is a great host and makes good coffee. The water is HOT, which we found out is not a given in Colombia.

The Rooster on our first morning woke us up at 4 am, but it was apparently relocated on days 2 and 3 ;) no more problems after that.

It was quiet with a great view. The owner did make us feel at home and help us out where needed. Just a short walk from everything.

The view from the balcony is just amazing. The host was super friendly and gave us some tips on what to do. The accommodation is close to the city centre (walk is less than 5 min) but far enough to give some peace during the night.
