Beautiful and comfortable rooms, host’s friendliness and generosity with his knowledge about the history of this amazing house/museum. Host spent some time with us giving us a tour of the museum. Staying here is like diving into ancient history. You have a choice to stay in a home from 300 BC or a home from the baroque period

Location not ideal if you are without a car- limited access to restaurants close by

An unforgettable experience if you want to try something else. we were here in the winter so maybe not the best time of the year for sleeping in a cave, however I would totally recommend it . The hosts are very helpful and so gentile! they took time to explain us a lot about the town, including a lot of history and we even had a visit of the museum. You can see that Giovanni has put all his heart in this. More than an place to sleep, it's an adventure!

Such a unique stay. They even opened the little museum to show us a little history of the location. If you like history, this is the place.

Giovanni and his colleague were wonderfully knowledge hosts. They dedicated their time to show and tell us about the history of Modica and the evolution of their home / museum through the ages. In terms of coronavirus safety, they both seemed very responsible and wore masks for all interactions. There was free and accessible hand sanitiser for use in the common areas. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony, with lots of light. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils for cooking and was spacious enough to be able to relax in different areas. The shower is fantastic! It also has free street parking which is great!
