Great location with a close walk to subway.

When I flew into Tokyo, I had trouble finding hotel. I called a cab and it was a short ride, but the cab ride was expensive.

Clean, updated, friendly staff, comfy mattresses for Japanese room standards!!

Cost of the hotel room and the accommodations are really good.

Mold (red and some black) in bathroom noticeable on the wall tiles and surrounding bath tub area

Convenient location, good staff service. Wifi was easy to connect, cleaning was regular and very good.

When booking online it was not very clear that I had booked a non-smoking room. This could be made a little more visible.

theres only 1 set coin laundry and dryer. (staff were nice to help collect laundry so others can use it too)

I have stayed in many APA Hotels in Japan and this hotel offers all the conveniences of an APA hotel - cleanliness, location - it's less than a 10-minute walk to Ochanomizu station in Tokyo (lovely area by the river) and not so far - 15/20 minutes - to the exciting (electronics) Akihabara district in Tokyo - and facilities (microwave, ice machine...); I asked for a room on a high floor with some kind of view - and got it...; I managed to check in with a human, not having to use those huge, barrier-like check-in machines...; the window actually opened - something that's not always guaranteed in Japanese city hotels...

Check out is 10am - I believe it used to be 11am for all APA hotels so this is surely a step backwards...; it would be nice to provide real coffee/tea cups in the room - as they do glasses - as opposed to the disposable ones; it would be nice to have coffee sachets...
