Welcoming, generous host, beautiful, peaceful location, comfortable accommodation. I was unwell for a few days during my stay, but my host kept an eye on me and made sure I had plenty of water in the apartment. My host's lovely dogs and cats were a bonus. I loved it when they came up to say hello.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The Garden Cottage where I stayed is a little piece of Heaven, a home from home with its own ground-floor terrace and garden. From the roof terrace above the property can be seen a conservation area of woods and sand dunes, with boardwalks leading to the local beach and further along the coast. My lovely host, Jane, could not have been kinder or more attentive. It would be useful to have a car, but buses for Fuengirola and Marbella and beyond stop regularly on the main road which is only a few minutes' walk away. However, it should be said that the only sound to be heard from the property is the sound of the sea. The aim of my holiday was to relax, go walking and read some books between visits to local friends in the area, and this was a perfect base for everything.

We stayed in the garden cottage. The accommodation was spacious, very comfortable and well appointed - owner's pride and care of the place shows. Jane was attentive and provided helpful suggestions. A home from home. The garden, bed and shower were highlights Air conditioning was a must given the very hot weather and worked well in keeping us comfortable. Lovely beaches in close walking distance beyond dunes to back. Silent nights and lovely night skies.

Spent ten very content and comfortable days there. The only little niggle was occasional but quite prolonged use of noisy equipment in adjacent gardens (leaf-blowers etc). Be aware it is a little remote for grocery (Jane did offer to pick up anything we might need - we were happy to walk. We needed the exercise as we ate out well each night in the solid selection of good food and wine in the locality).

I was so pleased to have found this gem of a place, the host, Jane, is a brilliant person: patient, helpful and offers all the elements needed to make your stay great. Overall, very highly recommended!

Jane was a good host. It's a great location and a comfortable bed. Pet friendly 😉 good access to the beach and many restaurants. We would be happy to book again..

Firstly it was difficult to find. But once sorted it was fine. We would go for the garden Room rather than the patio room which was booked.

The location is perfect and easy to walk to beach, shops etc
