Thse location was fine and quiet, but the town dissappointing.
Upon arrival the owner/manager told us strait away, this is not a hotel !
When we tried to explain that we had a reservation, he did not understand us.
He then told us through an interpreter, that if we want to visit Portugal, we should learn the language, or don't come !

Perfect place to escape from the city and relax close to nature. Very well organised, helpful and friendly hosts.
Great for family stay, as there are plenty of things to do with kids. We will definitely come back and enjoy calmness and peace again.

Tudo espetacular , a quinta é muito bonita cheia de detalhes e animais maravilhosos . O S.Joaquim muito simpático . O pequeno almoço maravilhoso , pão quente todas as manhãs . A caravana uma agradável surpresa com um rio como paisagem .

Antes de mais quero ressalvar a simpatia de quem nos recebeu...o Sr. Joaquim é um excelente anfitrião e com quem apetece estar horas a falar, e sempre preocupado com a nossa estadia. No que respeita ao quarto/ estúdio, foram alugados 3, sendo um deles o que fica junto ao lago. Os dois na zona central são optimos e exactamente como é mostrado nas fotos. A casa junto ao lago é mais modesta (mas cómoda), onde se apreciava uma modernização no espaço interior, especialmente na kitchenette e I.Sanitária.
A localização é optima, apesar de bastante afastada do núcleo central, e o lago já não existe... aparentemente por causa de uma tempestade ocorrida no passado que danificou o dique/ represa.
O pequeno almoço é bastante modesto (queijo e fiambre, pão, manteiga e doces, bolo caseiro e café), mas o pão caseiro é de comer e chorar por mais. Apenas acrescentava um sumo de laranja natural e seria óptimo.
A quinta está bastante arranjada e cuidade. Para as crianças é optima devido aos animais que tem e com bastante espaço para correrem. A pouca distância de Lisboa torna um bom destino para um passar um fds sossegado e longe da cidade.
Gostei...e talvez volte à Quinta da Saudade!

I think the place is outdated. Things needs to be fixed in a room and outside. Everything feels a bit old. The room had the humidity smell when we opened the door for a first time. Maybe before letting people in let some fresh air in :)?

Location was close to N2. Only good thing about the place.
Unfriendly staff. No English spoken and did not even try. Accommodation was tiny, dingy, and appeared to be between well worn and dirty. Bore no resemblance to what was shown on Booking.com. Overpriced and refused to change to a different room.

We had a fantastic experience at Quinta da Saudade. Seu Joaquim, Dona Rosinda and their son Jorge are such great hosts with amazing hearts. Everything is perfect for a countryside/farm experience.

Staff very friendly and available. Sr. Joaquim is an amazing host. The breakfast is left at your door with bread fresh out of the oven The farm is quite big and allows for peaceful walks where we can see the animals ( goats, sheeps, horses, donkey, ducks and a friendly cat). Cozy room. You can book horse riding and other activities.
The water pressure in the shower was terrible and stopped at some point. Had to wait a few minutes to return.

Property a few km from Ponte de Sor, quiet and very pleasant. Kind and generous hosts. Would definitely stay there again.
Watch your toes and shins coming out of the bathroom, tight space to the bed.. Bathroom small but very adequate.

Quinta is located in very calm place and occupies a big territory where you may walk and enjoy the nature.
The owners, especially Senhor, are kind and polite. They are working hard to keep the place in a good condition.
Pool is clean.
The room is comfortable, especially the bed. Hot water is really hot ;))
Big free parking is an advantage.
I should be honest, it was my 1st time resting in such a rural place where the closest supermarket or restaurant is 6km away.
So I didn't expect that there will be no place to eat, or at least to buy a food.
The bar didn't work.
The only thing I could buy was a pizza or bread with sausage.
I had breakfast included into price.
However it appeared that it consists only of a loaf of bread and 3 slices of cake...
All 3 days there I was super hungry and could do nothing.
So just an advice: coming to this place, take food with you, as there no cafe or restaurant close.

People were very nice. The place is confortable and a perfect oportunity to connect with nature. We had the chance to actually feed horses and dunkies and also see some other animals.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size. The breakfast was very good and Includes freshly made bread and cake. The farm was beautiful and had many different animals.

the location is great, the staff is very nice, the breakfast is superb. Great choice for families, there's a lot to do with kids.

We stayed in a cute bungalow with a small dock overlooking a pond. There was a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, tea pot and dishes. The shower was good. Each morning the host brought hot bread and cake. We enjoyed watching the sheep being herded across the river, interacting with the animals and bird watching. This is a very peaceful and restful place.

The location was very rural and quite. The place itself was very nice with plenty of walks and nature to explore around the Quinta. The room was nice and comfy. We were suprised to have an outdoor fire burning for the majority of the time and it was great to drink a tea by the fire in the evening. We also enjoyed the walks around the Quinta.
The breakfast was great overall. The bread was really good and so were the cakes. Overall a great place to spend some time.
We felt the cheese and ham provided for breakfast were not the best quality (tasteless) which created a contrast with the other overall great products we got.
