We had the private room for 1 night. Our experience here is really good! The owners are really friendly and speak great English. The room was good. They have a sweet puppy. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing ❤️👌😁👏

We travelled as a group of 4 and stayed at Rashmika on our way to Adam's Peak. The owner is very friendly and polite. She welcomed us, arranged a free shuttle to Adam's Peak in the night (we climbed during night hours to see the sunrise), organized tuk tuks and even helped us with getting the right bus for our journey to Kandy. Our group split during the climb so we returned to Rashmika at different hours. Even though we were already checked out and only came back to collect baggage, the owner let us stay a little longer for free so we can sleep a little. She even offered free lemonade as we waited for our friends. I cannot recommend enough.

Nothing. However, if you're coming by bus, don't hesitate to ask the driver early enough to drop you in laxapana, Maskeliya (otherwise it's a 30-40min easy walk from Delhouse to reach the place).

The host is really friendly and helpful. We received a free lift to the start of the hike and for the way back as well. Dinner and breakfast was tasty and good value for the price!

The family was super helpful and accommodating in terms of meal timing, getting me to Sri Pada for a 1:30am start and helping me reach my next destination. The room was lovely, comfortable, clean and spacious. Despite the fact that schools closed due to Covid-19 the Friday I was there and the family has three (adorable) children - the hosts in this 3-generational homestay were nothing but professional, gracious and warm. They also arranged transport for my onward journey - in fact the host Ashanta is a driver himself. I felt very comfortable here and it was a perfect base for exploring Sri Pada.

Good to know- This property isn’t in walking distance of the main part of town or the start of the hike. I opted for an early dinner at the homestay (and early to bed) and they served breakfast after the Sri Pada climb. Ashanta drove me to the start of the hike in the middle of the night without question.

The place is 2km away from the Adam's peak start, which is perfect to stay away from the crowd and be in a more traditional area. We have arrived in the afternoon and we have walked around the lovely lake which is like in the backyard. In the morning at 2 am the owner took us to the trail start and this was included in the accommodation, as well as the breakfast. We had also tried dinner cooked by the family and it was very good. The place is clean and we had a shower problem that was fixed immediately in the next 5 minutes. The owner and his family are very kind and good people and I really recommend this place if you plan to go to Adam's Peak.
