The room and bathroom was really big and very clean. It is a very nice, private, silent and peaceful place to stay. Pool is also great and easily accessible to rooms as it is right infront of the villas. Also the pool is some what private as it is situated bit away from reception and dinning area. Great for a late night swim. Totally worthy for the money. Staff is also good and helpful. A decent place. Recommending for any kind of vacation with friends or family. Very satisfied with the experience.

Later at night we noticed that there was some kind of block in water drainage system in bathroom and it got flood. Did charge for the water bottles in the room. At checkout they tried to charge us much more than the value shown in the booking.com by calculating with some non standard dollar rate which was much higher than the actual rate (Probably some local market price). Was able to resolve out easily by talking with owner.

Amazing staff very helpfull and friendly. Peacefull location and nice gardens. A great place to stay in hikkaduwa !

A few holes in the mosquito net and tere was still quite a bit of sand in the shower. But overall we had a great stay.

So glad I choose this accommodation and not in Hikkaduwa. Its a beautiful location with lovely garden. Ranuka was like a private Butler. The Breakfast was lovely, Its a lovely walk into town pass some paddy fields, or just flag down one of many passing Tuk tuks. If you don't choose Araliya Gardens you'll be missing out.

Excelent place, super friendly hosts, great pool and surroundings!

Very good place to stay in Hikkaduwa. Hosts are very kind and helpful with everything. They managed transfer from airport to hotel and help us with a car to get to Ella. There is a free transport from hotel to the beach every morning. Very clean rooms and beautiful, quiet area.

From the start till the check out, all was good. Owner Tatiana, she helped us in every manner. Staff was friendly. Amazing pool. Love the environment. Secure the people privacy. Final shout out to Liza friendly hotel dog.

Nothing. Wifi went off few times. But when we informed they switched on. Lights were bit low.

A special place about 2 km from the beaches of Hikkaduwa, Lovely garden with a sparkling clean pool, birds and trees. Surprisingly good food although they could benefit from promotiong something like "todays specials" to make more guests have dinner there. Generally very nice staff, especially the gardener/handyman (Chola?) who always had a hand and a smile to offer. Some more English among the other staff would be nice though. Perhaps English courses in their smartphones could help ..... We had a room with a lovely huge terrace complete with a birds nest in one of the lanterns. Highly recommended

WiFi definitely as it was very weak in our room and terrace. Bicycles for rent at the hotel would have been nice.
