Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and other areas around the hotel.

The receptionist mis charged us on check in,not out error. Meaning we had to pay a little extra on checkout.

It feels like a hotel aimed at business people. However, there is ample space in the twin bedroom with table and chairs. Comfortable beds. Check out is midday so no need to rush in the morning. Heating works efficiently. Great location for quayside with less than 20 mins walk to Eldon Square area We stayed a week night so paid a good value price.

View is of the river, but unfortunately there are plenty of cranes directly across the river .

The room was nice and spacious (exec suite) with a fantastic view over the Tyne. It was on the second floor - felt higher when looking out. Peaceful and quiet.

Decor was a bit "tired". Bed was quite soft - but I realise that's a personal thing. Bathroom could do with an upgrade - toilet flush handle felt like it was going to fall off and the shower is fixed at a height for people under 5ft. No access to snacks if you were peckish late at night.

If the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy a drink on the quayside

Hotel roof was leaking into the foyer area and the bathroom and facilities within the rim are becoming a little scruffy

Yes it’s a little dated but very clear, decent sized room, comfy bed, great powerful shower, nice view of river. Breakfast was decent too, well worth the extra.

It could do with modernisation but I’m guessing if it got that it would not be so reasonably priced.

breakfast wasn’t great, pillows were not good, no place to really sit and chill by bar or reception area just formal chairs. the hotel needs updating. service also slow. sorry to say these things

The Cost, highest I have ever paid for this hotel, I have stopped quite a few times now for work and pleasure.

The whole experience was excellent. Parking easy and the staff friendly and helpful.

Two beds in a room and location

The view was over the bins. The breakfast was dreadful, eggs rubbery and bacon and sausage smelt of fish.

Excellent value hotel in riverside location with easy access to the utilita arena the main reason for our visit. Good value car parking on site a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location is wonderful. 3 min walk to local bars and restaurants and footpath at back takes you right along riverfront if you want a walk to catch local sights. Hotel clean and comfortable. Have stayed on 3 occasions now and won't book anywhere else. Available car parking is a bonus with internal lift straight to hotel foyer making it very easy for access but costs £10 a night. If you like cooked breakfast, buffet style but food kept hot. Other basic breakfast food available. Nice lounge area. If you choose to eat in good food at reasonable prices

Friendly staff, clean, tons of hot water in the room, buffet breakfast, which we prefer. Excellent position, right on the Quayside, and parking at the hotel, which you do have to pay for but still worth it.

It's not a criticism, because I do think the hotel is excellent value but the whole hotel is a little tired, even the reception desk needs updating! Our room was an excellent size but tired and the bathroom especially needs a total refurbishment.

Its a shame we have to pay for parking.
