It is always a joy when visiting Hampton by Hilton staff are always helpful and friendly including the food and service

The room was nice however it smelt musty and it felt like the air conditioning was not working no mater what was done with no window that could be open to air out or filter the air in the room even after shower it was worse

This hotel which we have used before is right opposite Newcastle Central station. It is comfortable with a large breakfast room with buffet and a bar area. Snacks and soft drinks are available 24 hours from reception which is a really useful facility.

Kamer en Ontbijt is goed ook de gym is ruim voorzien van alle nodige apparaten. En met de Metro vanaf het vliegveld met een ABC ticket voor onder 5 euro te bereiken tegeover het centraal station ligt meteen het hotel.

ingang is moeilijk te vinden je loopt altijd de eerste keer bij het restaurant naar binnen, dus geen echte tegenvaller

Location was ideal for Newcastle Central Station. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby too.

No fried eggs or poached eggs available @ breakfast, only scrambled eggs.

Location, location, location! Just a few steps from the train station and very convenient with just a short walk to the main shopping areas. Breakfast staff in particular were super efficient and kept things on track even when it was quite busy.

The beds were comfortable but a bit creaky when you moved around or turned over during the night.

Central near bars/restaurants

Staff had given my room away without my knowledge or consent! I had clicked pay at venue and it appears they tried to charge my card again without my consent! We were so tired and then the guy on desk sold us a dirty room that was joint to another room with a little door! My first time in this place and certainly the last! It’s really frustrating how they had cancelled my booking without any email notification or any communication whatsoever! Avoid

Lovely hotel me and my sister enjoy stopping here it's good as its across the road from the station, it's pleasant and the breakfast is good.

We got in room early

Room was dirty bed was hard handles from drawers were laying on floor curtains had holes in them lamp shade had a hole in it and worst of all the hair dryer overheated and melted then blew in my hand which when I took it to staf was told ohh they were pat tested yesterday 😳 really well the pat tester needs sacked this machine was even cracked at back before I used it I felt i was fobbed off I'm a member of honours and usually have a good stay at their hotels think I will be looking elsewhere in Newcastle now

Not enough choice for cooked breakfast, only sausage,bacon, scrambled egg and some round potato things

No hairdryer. Was in a room that can interconnect which scared my child as door was tried in the early hours. Music is very loud. Dirty glasses and cutlery.

Really good location but no parking on site. Parking is around 8-10 min walk away. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were really nice

BEING WOKEN UP AT 7.30AM BY BOTTLES BEING EMPTIED!!!! That was not a good start and when I mentioned it, I was told I was lucky it was that late as usually earlier! Not happy. The light around the bathroom mirror wasn't working either which made it very dark. Building works currently going on inside so lots of mess.

Location is amazing. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

Queen room, small window making it dark and feel smaller than it was. Dark green decor contributed to this feeling. Damp smell coming up through the sink drain, smell filled the room. Cold shower, had to wait for boiler to be re-set. One staff member at check in (he was lovely). There was a que for checking in, one for stored luggage and one for the bar. He was managing all three despite two members of staff in the office.

excellent, clean accommodation across the road from the metro station (central) and close to the bars. It was surprisingly quiet for a city centre hotel and didn’t even hear storm Arwen.

Excellent location and good breakfast with plenty of options. Had problem with room but it was sorted quickly.

Curtains in the room needed some attention. They didn’t completely cover the window.

Location brilliant as just opposite train and metro station. Room was very spacious and toiletries very good.

The security could be a little better as anyone can walk in off the street and access any floor and reception is on the 2nd floor. Maybe your keycard could be utilised at the door and in the lift.

Bed was really hard. Couldn’t get comfortable and the AC didn’t really work. The room was boiling so we turned on the cold AC and didn’t feel much difference. The iron in the room didn’t work and the tv only had 3 channels

Always clean,great staff,nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is 1st class,so much choice.

Location is excellent and breakfast was really good.

Not didn't like as such but would be good if reception could advise about discount parking as I stayed two weeks prior as was unaware of this. It's not much but probably useful to advise people when checking in. Otherwise couldn't fault anything and reception were very pleasant
