Me and the family had a great stay and love that you got a mini bar and that kids could go in the bar to. It was good that you could leave your luggage while looking around. staff are nice and kind and the hotel helped with our needs so our family could stay it cost £20.00 to upgrade one of the rooms so overall great stay.

1 of the rooms were not ready for an hr and 30mins but the staff did apologise for this so cant fault to be fair because the staff are nice and one of the staff members asked us again for the £20.00 for the upgraded room but was already paid on the day of arrival in cash to assistant manager who checked us in the second room.

Everything was perfect. The staff were exceptional and non stop helpful and friendly. A lovely well looked after hotel at great value. So clean too. Health facilities well organised and clean. Great job! We'd love to come back!

Our room was huge. We were very impressed! Really great size for a family. It was very clean, so comfortable and had a very luxurious feel. The bathroom was lovely too, immaculate and clean. The hotel was central too and only a 10 min walk from the station. We were very happy with our stay.

The breakfast food was a bit disappointing as a lot of it was hard but there was a huge choice.

Large room, modern bathroom, with a bath and a shower cubicle. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very good location, easy to go for a walk along the river and to go to the main shopping streets and restaurants.

The breakfast could have more options for a 4 star hotel. Food and juices were not replaced fast enough.

Everything, the food, the spa, the room, the staff, the cleanliness. And the rental umbrellas!

A coffee pot on the table at breakfast rather than asking for refills for a small mug. Minor thing, just a suggestion.

Close to Newcastle station but take a 5-8 mins walk, fairly small sidewalk.

Room was not clean. Dusty desk. Nasty remote control with something sticky on it. Found a used inhaler puffer under the bed sheet, meaning the cleaning staff are not doing their basic job at all.

Staff friendly and catered with care for my dietary needs.

Clean and nice breakfast

New and tidy

Staff were very helpful and very polite. The hotel is a 6 minute walk right behind the train station. The rooms were very clean an comfortable. Dinner and breakfast both very good. The spa facilities are open early till late so if you want to relax just after breakfast or before bed they are open and staff are also helpful and friendly.

There was 2 Christmas party’s on I felt they had No time for the people stopping in the hotel we booked an evening meal but got forgotten waiting for a glass of wine after ordering it after 40 mins of waiting we had to go and find someone !

Room so clean and comfortable - breakfast really excellent ,and overall a great experience - location is also really excellent, struggling to find any problem with this hotel.

No issues at all - never been able to say that about a hotel before

Big room with great views

On arrival the Crowne Plaza Hotel Newcastle was decorated beautifully for Christmas, Lovely hotel, all staff very friendly and welcoming, Breakfast was fantastic, all staff happy to help, lovely food, lovely rooms very clean. Close to all amenities, would definitely stay here again.

Room was lovely and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Loved having a separate bath and shower. It was great having the iron and board there as well as the hairdryer and tea making.

The breakfast was not so good. We were told at check in that breakfasts was on till 12. We had a lie in, then discovered that it stopped at 10:30. We had planned to have a swim first, but couldn’t or we would miss it. The food was running out and took a lot of time to be replaced. We kept asking when the new food was coming and just kept being told soon. It was busy, but then surely they would know that and should have planned accordingly. We ended up having to leave without some of the breakfast.

The room was nice, bed was comfy, warm and brilliant tv in the room. Nice to have the option of bath or shower also. 8/10 for the room for definite.

Spa area. Changing rooms were not clean at all, towels all over the place, dirty lockers, gunk on the floor

Polite and helpful staff with a relaxed atmosphere, the room was excellent and the bed was even better.

If I was being critical I would also enjoy a sauna in the pool area but the steam room was great.

It was honestly fantastic can’t wait to stay there again

The toliet didn’t flush, we didn’t get told what time check out was and the cleaner tried to come in at 10:30

Rooms were good, front of house staff were very friendly and efficient and restaurant staff were attentive.

Housekeeping really let the team down. We had to ask them to return as bins weren’t emptied, beds not made and tea and coffee not replenished.

The size of the room and bathroom much bigger than other hotels and the bed was extra large and very clean and comfortable

Breakfast was incredible, Staff were lovely, Room was spacious with huge shower. The Spa facilities were lovely. The place was completely spotless. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Was slightly worried about it being so close to the train station but you couldn’t hear a thing.
