very hot - unable to turn heat down (reception couldn’t override it either). Opened the window to let some fresh air in but the noise from the traffic/sirens was so loud and continued until the early hours. would have like coffee facilities on room

I just stayed a night here to be close to Geneva airport. Didn't try the breakfast. I guess the outdoor pool was closed as it was winter - So I can't speak of the facilities. Room was nice and clean. Checkin/checkout was fast and staff were lovely.

Location is hard to get to, by foot, from Saint-Genis town. It's more suitable to drive. The paths are quiet and it's a bit lonely to walk them alone. I also tried it's sister hotel "Budget IBIS" and found it to be cheaper but more modern.

Everything was fine as usual, but for some reason, probably for sake of saving money, hand and face towel were not supplied. It was very disappointing.

arranged for an airport transfer at time of booking (which was why we chose this hotel), only to be told they did not run at weekends (I already confirmation of the transfer). had to pay an extra £88 for a taxi!! very misleading No tea/coffee facilities in room which would have been nice

I've stayed at the St. Genis Ibis multiple times and I've always had a good stay. The staff are absolutely the best and are what makes this place great. My room was tidy and had a remarkably large bed (for France), probably a queen. The breakfast is exceptional and dinner is also wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises. They have very reasonable bicycle rentals at the hotel, much cheaper than in Geneve. I'll definitely rent next time. the staff was great driving me to the airport at an early hour and I was the only person needing a ride so it was a lot of work for them in Geneve traffic, but they were great!

These are minor points. I'm always on foot when I stay here and the location is slightly odd (for a walker). If you are driving you can ignore these comments. The hotel is a slight distance from the bus stop in St. Genis, and its a bit of a trail-walk... nothing the hotel can do about it. If you are a runner, jogger, cyclist, there is a bridge at the southern end of the industrial park which takes you to a trail on the opposite side of the Autoroute... highly recommended for exercise. For CERN travellers, its a great place to stay, but a long walk. I've done it many times.

Breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was super kind.

The rooms were slightly too hot, but all could be solved by opening the window a bit. But maybe it would be better to not heat up the hotel quite as much.

The website said that they had an airport shuttle. Unfortunately, when I called to use the shuttle they said it was only operational between 10:30 and 6:30. I had emailed them previously to ask if the shuttle was available and I received no response until two days after my stay. The taxi fare to the airport was huge.

I think you should have small refrigerators in the rooms.. mine didn't have one, and possibly a coffee maker. I understand that is more the North American standard, but it would be good in case you needed to chill or refrigerate somethings

it didn’t have any drinking facilities in the room so I would have thought you could get a free coffee downstairs but it was 4 euros.
