Staying at Rosenka Guesthouse was one of my favourite accommodations in Sri Lanka. The value here is incredible. The rooms are simple but they all have breathtaking views and all are super clean and well functioning. The owner and his family have the warmest smiles in Sri Lanka and the home cooking is superb. There is a calm and a peacefulness staying at this property. I spent each morning sitting with the awe inspiring view accompanied by a warm pot of tea. Any information about sights and attractions will lovingly be provided by your fine english speaking host. An excellent choice in Haputhale.

Everything is perfect in Rosenka. The owner, the wife's food, the room, the view, the location. It was one of our favorite stays in a month long trip to Sri Lanka. Don't miss their food. I know every review says that their homestay had the best food. This is the real deal.

Beautiful views of mountains through the window. Access is easy, about 2km from Haputale town. Enough parking spaces (6-7 vehicles) Home cooked good food for reasonable prices. Bird songs in the morning. Clean rooms/ bed sheets and bathrooms with hot water. Mr jagath (owner) and his family are very helpful and kind, just tell him if you want anything. It's like your own home.
