We had a wonderful stay in Florence, the apartment was perfect and exceeded expectations. I was certain there would be a catch and that things wouldn't be as nice as the online description, but they were! The location next to the Ponte Vecchio is hard to beat, the apartment was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The roof deck was beautiful and secluded and the views from the viewing deck were stunning. Washing machine and AC (we visited in a heatwave) were a real bonus. Communication with the owner was great, they also provided great tips for local restaurants and sights which was very helpful.

The property is as advertised and was a perfect setup for our family of 4. It was light and bright, but the blackout shades allowed us to sleep in :) We loved the convenient location in the heart of Florence, steps from the Ponte Vecchio, world class shopping and dining. We throughly enjoyed our outdoor time on the terraces and rooftop!! Would highly recommend and would love to return!

We stayed 21 nights in this amazing place. We have had the fortune of staying in Florence several times…we have always stay in terrific hotels but this was different…and so much better. The pictures online are 100% accurate so I will not describe it. Karin met us upon arrival and was extremely helpful. Moreover, Karin was super responsive and kind for many months leading up to our stay. She is the perfect host. The apartment was extremely clean…and stayed that way. The location could not be better. Super private and close to everything. The patios are over the top. Especially the roof top area. The kitchen, as with the entire property is well appointed should you need it. This is a must stay property when you are in Florence. Thank you Karin for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home.

My husband and I stayed at this property for six nights in April. We are a retired couple from USA. We found the apartment location perfect. Although it is in the center of all the action, it is quiet and easy to get to and from important destinations. The unit is on the seventh floor with a lift that goes up six flights, and an easy walk up the last flight. Approximately 15 steps, very wide and easy to manage. The building and the unit itself are beautiful. The photos are accurate and represent the unit well. The kitchen is comfortable and easy to cook in unlike some smaller kitchens in other European units we have stayed in. The living room is comfortable and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms are very nice. All equipment worked just fine. Water temperature and pressure was good. Beds are very comfortable. The terraces on this unit are outstanding. There are two furnished terraces and one unfurnished rooftop but all spots are very comfortable and a great place to spend the evenings. The furniture on the terrace says , our quick dry, which is a problem we have experienced in other units. This furniture can be used even a couple hours after a rain storm. The weather changes quickly in Florence so that is a real plus. The hostess is wonderful. Quick to respond to any questions and very accessible. We will recommend this unit to friends and hope to come again ourselves.

Lovely apartment perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 en-suite bedrooms on either side of the apartment and the vews from the 3 balconies are gorgeous. The location is also perfect right in Ponte Vecchio walking distance to everything. Karin, the host, is also lovely.

We had the best time at this apartment. Everything was great: location, layout, furnishings. It was great for two couples because the bedrooms (each with en-suite bathrooms) were at opposite ends of the apartment. We loved the terrace—we were lucky that it was sunny and not too cold most of the February week we were there and spent a lot of time lounging outside. The kitchen had everything you might need and there was a nice grocery store right across the river. The apartment was in the center of things—it was great to be able to sightsee or go out to dinner on either side of the river and then come back to the apartment’s tranquility. Karin was also a very responsive host.
I would definitely stay again at this apartment and would recommend it to my friends.

This beautiful apartment is conveniently located in the center of the tourist area of Florence. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were well designed and the water pressure in the showers was outstanding. The air conditioning worked great. The three private outdoor terraces had lovely furniture. I can’t think of a thing I would change about this home. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

This is the third time we have stayed at this great property. Both previous times were only for a few days between travel to other cities. This time we were able to enjoy a week here for a milestone birthday. As always, love this property, location and dealing with the owner, Karin, is so easy. She helped make reservations at a couple of places as well and also car pickup/drop off for arrival and departure needs.
The layout is ideal for two couples or in our case we enjoyed a lot of space for just two of us. We loved having breakfast at the house in the mornings and wine in the evenings. It was too cold in Feb to hang outside, but given nice weather, the outside is lovely. And of course, the location cannot be beat. The only (very minor) item that would make the stay absolutely perfect is if there was a welcome bottle of wine. In our case we had a huge flight delay, so relaxing for a glass of wine at the beautiful house before having to go to the store would have been icing on the cake. We look forward to returning here sometime in the future.

This was our second stay at Casa Ventura and our 10 nights could not have been better. Karin is an outstanding host. We had a very minor issue and within hours a technician was out to repair the issue. The terraces are spectacular! The apartment has everything one needs…We enjoyed using the outdoor grill for preparing a Florentine Steak we bought at the market. Having electric black out blinds, a bluetooth sound system, a Nespresso, a washing machine and an elevator were huge perks for us. Although the apartment is in a very central and busy part of Florence, when inside, it is extremely quiet and 100% safe. The apartment is in the very center of Florence, and all neighborhoods and attractions, including multiple grocery stores are within easy walking distance. The beds are super comfortable and luxurious, the 2.5 Bathrooms are wonderful. The apartment is well maintained and spotless. This is the only property we will stay at when visiting Florence, which will hopefully be in the very near future. Thanks Karin :)

Karin was probably one of the best hosts we’ve ever had through vrbo. Her communication was excellent and she made our first trip to Florence so great. We have 2 college athlete daughters so having access to a gym was imperative and she gave us a perfect recommendation. The apartment had ALL the necessities and was in a perfect location.
