Nuestra casa de campo y cabaña hermosamente renovadas son la base perfecta para explorar el antiguo bosque de Dean y el valle de Wye. Las vigas a la vista y la piedra original se complementan con la decoración y el mobiliario hogareño que proporcionan la comodidad moderna. Estamos ubicados a las afueras del pintoresco pueblo de Longhope, en las afueras del bosque de Dean, y Wye Valley, un área de excepcional belleza natural.
Ambas propiedades tienen su propia área de jardín privado con mesa y sillas y el uso de una barbacoa, junto con el uso compartido de otras 7 hectáreas de jardines y pastos cuidadosamente mantenidos. El arroyo Baynam atraviesa la finca con un gran sauce a lo largo de la orilla, creando un entorno muy tranquilo.
Se puede suministrar un jacuzzi para su estancia por un costo adicional. Por favor, pregunte en el momento de la reserva si desea pedir el jacuzzi antes de realizar la reserva.

El pueblo de Longhope tiene una gran cantidad de actividades que incluyen una escuela de cocina, Battlesports, tiro al plato y visitas a nuestra cervecería local.
Hay castillos para explorar, trekking, ciclismo y Go Ape en el antiguo bosque de Dean y navegar en kayak por el río Wye.
Estamos en el lugar perfecto para visitar las ciudades con mercado histórico de Ross on Wye y Monmouth, con la ciudad de Gloucester a solo 10 minutos en coche. Un poco más lejos están Cheltenham Spa, Bath Cardiff, Bristol y Birmingham.

Lovely cottage in a good location. A great base for exploring the Forest of Dean area with the bonus of returning to relax in the hot tub. Hosts were very welcoming. Highly recommended.

A very clean and comfortable property, tastefully decorated and furnished, providing an excellent base from which to explore the Forest of Dean. We paid extra to hire a hot-tube which was enjoyed by us all. The grounds are spacious and lovely too. The fresh cakes that greeted our arrival were delicious!
For those not used to living with traffic noise, the proximity to the busy, main road may be an issue, but we're used to it so it did not bother us too much.
The owners were lovely and left us to it, while being close on hand had we needed them. Tracey was highly communicative in the run up to our holiday. Thanks to both Tracey and David - you have a lovely holiday home for all to enjoy.

Tracey and David have a fabulous couple of cottages set in beautifully well kept gardens. The cottage we stayed in was super clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a fabulous addition.
The extra treats were the icing on the cake (excuse the pun!).
I would highly recommend this lovely holiday hide away, it's great for all ages - and pups!

There’s so much to like about this property. First of all we received a very warm welcome from Tracey in particular with a delicious home made cake and some nice local products. The cottage itself is very spacious, clean and is very beautifully decorated. The beds were one of the very best we ever had. With our family we had such an enjoyable and relaxing time especially because there is so much to do in the close neighbourhood of the property. We particularly enjoyed the walk to May Hill with its amazing views. We really would like to come back!!!

My husband and myself, along with two friends have had an excellent stay at Mill Cottage. The cottage is extremely comfortable and cosy, with all of the facilities that you need for an enjoyable stay. The beds were very comfortable! The wood burner also a big plus. All finishing touches excellent! It is set in very pretty grounds and located in an ideal area for exploring The Forest of Dean. We also visited the nearby Symonds Yat which was lovely. The owners are a stones throw away and they are very welcoming and friendly people without being at all obtrusive. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mill Cottage and plan to return sometime in the future!
