I loved the location and the quietness of the room Had a lovely sleep in a very comfortable bed.

On the basis that one could book room only (which I did, i.e. no breakfast), it was very good that there was actually a fridge (and a microwave) in the corridor for residents' use. Very practical for storing milk, etc. overnight. Excellent and thoughtful facility.
My room had a dormer window, which I liked!
Given the space available in the bathroom, the shower was very tight, but 'it is what it is' and the shower itself work very well. I found it rather hard to locate the first evening, as I didn't have GPS.

The accommodation was excellent.
Mary was very friendly and provided us with the best breakfast. Homemade bread and Jam and everything to go with it.
We would highly recommend this Guest House.
The Guest House had two ways into it .
The first night we arrived we took a backward way in.
But the second night we found the short cut.

It was noisy due to some drunk people partying in front of the bedroom, but the owner stopped it at my request.
It is better not to choose the bedroom in front of the parking, as it can then be noisy.

just one suggestion. as it is room only I think it might be a good idea to have a microwave in the room. especially as the rooms are large.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and very warm which was lovely as it was a cold day.

Very welcoming environment: warm and cozy house with beautiful room with garden view. The place was quiet and they even have a small farm. The room was clean and the bathroom was okay. The forniture have a ancient style, perfect and very cozy
I'm very sensible towards animal, I noticed that in the farm the donkey had no shelter not even a small cover, in the morning he was covered with snow. It broke my heart

The toilet was old and not efficient, I flushed it 10 times and the poop wouldn't go down.

Valley Lodge is a great value. Mary is lovely and recommended places to see and resturnts to eat at, The daily breakfast was fantastic.

The bathroom door handle is poor it’s feel like we are going to break it and it make pain to your palm

Beautiful surroundings, loads of animals, friendly host, large warm comfortable and clean room, loads of hot water, tea & coffee facilities and a fridge, plenty of towels, plenty of parking
