Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Place was spotless. Great location for us as visiting family in Cong. Short walk to grounds of Ashford castle. Very family friendly.

I stayed here with family over Halloween for 3 days. Prior to our arrival the hosts were good at keeping in touch by email and helpful with directions. They both met us locally in Cong village and brought us to the property, showed us around and explained how everything worked and told us to give them a shout if we needed anything. They also left breakfast for us in the fridge which was very nice and of a good quality. The villa itself was finished to a very high standard and is very comfortable, spacious and in a great location on the Ashford estate. Good parking , good location close to Cong village and great value for money. I hope to definitely return in the future. No complaints at all and I only wish we stayed a bit longer.

This place is simply breathtaking. Very well equipped , clean and nicely furnished rooms.The surrounding is like in a fairy tale,situated in the woods in a walk distance to the castle.The owners-Patricia and Gerard are very friendly and helpful couple.I appreciate that after a long day of travelling,they left a surprise in the fridge - food for preparation of typical Irish breakfast.If one day we return to Ireland,my heart will definitely take me to this place. I 100% recommend this property!

Beautiful property! Gorgeous grounds surrounding it! Had all the things we needed including cutlery, hairdryer, large and small towels!

beautiful, quiet location on the. Ashford Castle estate. very clean and modern, Patricia and Gerard were lovely hosts and we appreciated the Irish breakfast left for us which was very thoughtful.

Weekend stay in this property. Immaculately clean and spacious . The house is well set up with all you could need and more (lovely touch to have breakfast supplies in fridge). A fantastic host who made us feel very welcome. Great communication and very accomadating. Highly recommend a stay at this property and we look forward to returning. Thanks again Patricia.

We arrived and were met by Patricia and Gérard who brought us to the property, upon arriving we were brought in to the most amazing bungalow. You come out and walk to the right and you are on the grounds of Ashford Castle. Watching the horses practice jumps, biggest trees and forest walks. Patricia And Gérard had the house fully stocked with a full Irish breakfast in the fridge including milk. We were blown away by the welcome we were given. I would gladly go back and stay in Ashford villa it is the perfect holiday/stay cation.

The apartment was spotless it had everything you need. Beautiful setting and the host were warm and welcoming. My family enjoyed their stay,especially the lovely breakfast tho hosts left in the fridge . Thank you Patricia & Gerald. Will definitely be back.

Patricia was just brilliant, from meeting us in cong & taking us right up to there property lovely greeting from Gerard & Patricia, breakfast in the fridge for the next morning,spotless house , everything you need in it ,the best location you could ask for , 10 minutes walk to cong , bike hire right beside us , fantastic holiday

Having to leave , well blind on the double bedroom roof window for a sleep in would be nice but nothing to moan about

The hosts were superb, the house was spotless and beautifully decorated, lovely bed linen. The area the house is situated was lovely and quiet for a good nights sleep and just at the edge of Ashford Castle estate for lovely walks through the grounds. It was so lovely to come into a warm house and have cupboards stocked with essential cleaning products and some store-cupboard foods. The supplies for breakfast in the fridge were unexpected but very much appreciated and enjoyed!

The only addition that might be included is a blackout blind for the skylight window in the double bedroom.

Loved everything

The location was wonderful and perfect for walks and a nice break from hustle and bustle of everyday life. The breakfast in the fridge was a lovely thought and Patricia and Gerard were lovely hosts. They thought of everything you could possibly need.

It was all perfect from beginning to end. The only thing I didn't like was leaving!
