This house is fabulous- beautifully decorated, you feel comfort upon entering!! Highly recommend

Very comfortable, clean and well furnished. A perfect accommodation for us to visit our new grandson in Rapid City! The location enabled us to help out when needed (or not needed), explore downtown and get lost in the beautiful Black Hills!

This is a great little place to stay in Rapid. The house was cute and clean and Jami and Matt were great hosts. Immediately after we booked, we received an email Jami and Matt that included local suggestions for multiples types of food and activities. They even included a suggestion for flyfishing, presumable because my email suggests that is an activity that we enjoy, very observant! Thank you. The place is located in a great spot in the edge of down town and managed by great hosts. I definitely recommend.

Very clean and decorated beautifully with quality kitchen especially! Nice bedroom (spacious) with an extremely comfort king bed. Appreciate the kitchen had any supplies you’d need to prepare a meal. We loved walking the historical neighborhood it was adjacent to. My husband and I found the central location convenient for our day trips to Blackhills, Mount Rushmore and Badlands! Owners are very helpful and responsive.

I agree with all of the reviews about this fantastic remodeled home. But I must comment on its location. The house is on a busy highway that runs through Rapid City. Cars and loud engines can be heard day and night throughout the home. Even in the bedroom. The bedroom has 3 windows with sheer window coverings so the room at night never gets dark. Yes, the train runs at all hours of the night and the train whistle is jolting. But out of fairness the train runs the length of the city so you are bound to hear it if you are staying in the city.

The house was great! It was updated nicely, very clean and had ample parking for our truck, trailer and motorcycle. It was a great place to stay and use as a base camp to take day trips from to all the parks/attractions in the area. The hostess was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I also appreciated that she checked in with us periodically throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The only downside was the NOISE. The house is located on a main street that has a lot of traffic noise at all times of the day and night. We kind of got used to the traffic noise, but the one thing that really surprised us were the train horns. On our first night there, we were awakened in the middle of the night by a train blowing its horn. It was jarring, but we figured/hoped it was just a one time occurrence. However, we were wrong. We stayed at the house 4 nights (Saturday-Tuesday). Three of those four nights we were awakened by a train horn. On our last night, 2 trains came through in one night! By the end of our vacation, I felt like we were reliving the train scenes from the movie “My Cousin Vinny”. With the exception of the traffic noise and train horns, this is a great little house to stay at!

The little blue house was just perfect for the two of us. Well outfitted,clean and close to town.It's 45-50 minutes to the state and national parks.There is so much to do in the Rapid City area.Who knew? Definitely would stay here again.

This place is great if you want to be near downtown. It is very clean and well kept. It is only short walk to some of the restaurants and shops nearby.

The accommodations were particularly comfortable - shout out to a great comfortable bed and good water pressure - with great design elements. Enjoyed the patio a couple times on a nice afternoon. No road noise and one block from the restaurants and shops of downtown. Great to be able to walk everywhere downtown we wanted to go, but parking would not have been any issue. We thought our son was going to be with us for a night, so got the 2 BR, but didn't end up needing it. Will definitely stay again when we need a 2 BR, or even if we don't.

My wife and I found this property to be centrally located and a great space to relax before and after exploring the Black Hills and Badlands areas. We base camped here and used each day to drive and hike within a 70 mile radius. This home is located near downtown with good parking and easy access. The home was well planned, designed, stocked and managed. Anne and I travel quite a bit so I feel qualified to rate rental properties. Of the many properties we have enjoyed this may be our favorite. Good job Jami and Matt you guys have done a great job.

The children loved the home and didn’t want to leave! A/C works perfect and the hosts have been the most accommodating yet!

Short walk to downtown Rapid City and a great location to just on interstates or local streets for day excursions.

We had a fabulous 1-week stay at this property. The place was spotless and well decorated. Kitchen appliances were high-end and kitchen was well stocked with all the tools/utensils/etc you need to cook in rather than eating out every night. We were very glad to find a washer and dryer in the basement. We didn't remember seeing that mentioned in the listing. 5 out of 5 stars.

Loved the place. The property manager was great and responsive. Nice location close to everything and easy to get to from I-90. A slight negative is that the 4 or 5 rental properties in that specific area are right on top of each other. We met a lot of nice people, but I wouldn't use it for a romantic getaway. The big negative is the noise because the property is right next to a main road through town, and nobody in Rapid City, it seems, believes in mufflers. When you're sitting outside, it's loud. Now understand, I live on a farm and I'm not used to it. But, if you're from the city, you'll feel right at home. With all that being said, the pros greatly outweigh the cons and I would definitely stay there again. South Dakota is beautiful.

This house has everything you need including a full size well-equipped kitchen and is within walking distance to downtown bars and restaurants. It is incredibly clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a nice, cozy house near downtown Rapid City. Is a small, older house that has been fixed up nicely. Many downtown food and shopping locations within half mile walk from here as well as grocery and other stores within short drive. Many things to do and see in the Black Hills within half hour of her as well. Great spot to base out of for a couple or small family.

The property was well prepared. The location, with the nearness of downtown, was ideal. While it was on a Main Street, the bedroom at the back of the house was very quiet. Parking was easy. The kitchen was very well equipped with great appliances. Nice touches throughout the house.

This darling little house was perfectly located for all our day trips to Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, The Badlands and others. It is exactly as pictured with top of the line appliances. Loved having a washer & dryer. (There was even detergent & dryer sheets.) It is light, bright and airy and very well decorated. We were able to walk to dinner almost every night and for coffee in the morning. The bedroom is in the back of the house but had a little road noise from the busy road out front. If you need a dark room to sleep this is not the place for you but the bed is very comfortable and this little house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Angela was easy to work with & was available for any questions we had. Would highly recommend as a great home base.

Beautiful property located close to restaurants and stores. We stayed 7 days and visited Custer, mount Rushmore, the Badlands and many more. Great place and location. Hosts were very good as well

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of dining options within walking distance and everything else Rapid City has to offer is just a short drive away. Property was clean and comfortable and parking was easy as well.

Very clean, recently re-furbished. Perfect for the two of us. We walked downtown for dinner several evenings and enjoyed also walking through the Rapid Creek Park. Visited Rushmore, Wind Cave, Devil's Tower, Badlands. We enjoyed the trip and the house very much!

This is a very quaint property in a good location for easy access to what the area has to offer. It is a great property for a couple to stay at. It is located by downtown so easy access to eating/drinking establishments.

Nice little house within walking distance to downtown area, but far enough out of the way to avoid most noise. Very convenient and close to highways and roads leading to the usual attractions. Perfect base for a couple exploring the area. Also very clean and had everything we needed.

We were very pleased. The house was clean. Bed was comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Location was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of several restaurants. We were very comfortable walking after dark. We felt it was a great central location for our vacation to the black hills. So much better than staying in motels, and the price was very reasonable Owner was readily accessible, although we had no problems to address. Obviously, the owner spent much time, effort and , I am sure, money to make this a great little house. We highly recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was meticulous. We didn’t realize Sturgis rally was going on at time of our visit so we were incredibly lucky to find this. I’d highly recommend this quaint little place. It had everwe needed and more.
