I’ve been using Booking.com for over 13 years now, I’ve stayed in many hotels, houses, B&B’s, apts, etc. and this is by far one of the worst places I’ve been to. The trash bin had garbage from a previous guest and we found an used razor and an used washcloth smelling awful in the bathroom. We contacted the owner about this and he said that they were fixing a leak the day before…, I guess the plumber decided to shave his legs after he fixed the leak too… the bead-spread was stained and dirty, it looks like it hasn’t been washed in years! The owner had also promised to send a cleaner the next day, we thought well at least he is trying, of course nobody came, nothing happened, Pete just doesn’t care, I had already paid him in advance so why bother. Pete had also said that he would be in the apt to meet and greet us, as you can imagine he didn’t care enough to show up and just sent instructions via txt. The place is outdated, depressing curtains that don’t match and make the place look just sad, also very weird smell overall, not enough light, frankly just a depressing-looking place and an owner who clearly doesn’t care enough and just wants some income without providing decent accommodation for his guests. The cherry on top of it all was the shower. With a disgusting bathtub from the 80’s where you wonder if you should shower barefoot and the worst water pressure ever! If you come from the beach expect to be hours in the shower trying to get the sand off. Finally, albeit a good location, please note this place is on the top of a hill! So in and out is a looong and kinda dangerous walk and the beach that is a walking distance from the apt is definitely not recommended. In other words you need to rent a car or a taxi so at the end this ‘cheap’ place is not so cheap really when you need to pay extra for transportation. Do yourself a favor, pay a little extra and go to the Riu hotel by the beach.

the views were amazing, walking distance for the beach and city centre, the air conditioning was very nice and the kitchen and facilities were simply perfect! we cooked few time and managed to get tasty meals
