The hotel was set in large grounds which were lightly wooded which made it very pleasant. Parking was on-site.

Having travelled fairly extensively in Spain, we always find France expensive when it comes to food, accommodation and coffee. This hotel was virtually the same price as we paid for a 3 star Holiday Inn hotel in Pamplona yet couldn't match it in facilities or comfort. It was a very disappointing way to end our lovely holiday. The bedroom felt as though it dated back to the 1960s in terms of furnishings and there was little comfort to be able to relax in our bedroom with one wooden chair between the two of us. The bathroom was also dated and fell far short of what travellers now expect in a hotel. Breakfast was not a pleasant experience. When we arrived, the breakfast hall was full of people milling about; this is a hotel that is popular with groups and they dominated the room. We sat on a long table and were asked to move by a French lady because she wanted her friends to sit near her; we had interrupted her group and we felt like gooseberries among them. They made no attempt to welcome us at all. The food was adequate but very little in the way of selection.

Breakfast was healthy and very enjoyable. First class.

Drawers, more space and glasses in the bathroom would have improved the situation.
