Didn't enjoy the cooked breakfast as much as I hoped but service was excellent and there were plenty of other food options which were fine.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean, warm and homely. Excellent value for money. Food great and lots of choice. 10 minutes walk to Chester town centre.

This lovely hotel is old school in all the best ways, cozy, friendly and homey, run/staffed by a very gracious group of people who take care of you really well. Welcoming, with a very nice bar and restaurant, the food is good, the rooms are clean, it is in a lovely area. I would go back. Thank you

Lovely room great bathroom. Luckily the room had a fan as during our stay the weather was hot. The hosts provided us with bottles of ice cold water on arrival which was very welcome.

Parking was iffy. On street if you couldn't get in the car park. Space at a premium when a large 4x4 took up more room.

Staff friendly

Great hotel. Situated within easy distance of the centre. Friendly staff,lovely room and excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Chester. Would recommend

Bed was lumpy

The breakfast was amazing, so much choice! 😁, The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the bathroom lovely and clean too. Also loved the fact there were two fans in the wardrobe for if you get too hot and a trouser press as well. The reception area is lovely with plenty of seating to chill near the bar, and the garden outside is beautiful to sit out in on a sunny day.

Got a free room upgrade on arrival. Nice room, very clean and lovely comfy bed.

Slightly out of the city and twenty minute walk in

The staff was really nice and the food was real food. It's on a quiet street with not much traffic. It felt safe.

The furniture were old and not in a great condition.

Could feel the springs in the the mattress in my back. Still an OK bed, though. Toilet wouldn’t flush all the toilet paper = each time you used it more an more paper would be left in the bowl.
