Beautiful environment, amazing food, excellent staff and manager

The setting of this property is outstanding, beautiful sunset and sunrise, views of a
waterhole and the plain with different animals.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The manager gave us some great advice about activities to do and pointed out lots of different animals/birds to us.
There are walking trails around the property too.
The food was great and all included with the room which was extremely reasonable.
Highly recommend this property, we stayed as a
stopover on our way to the Dune 45 wished we had had time for one more night here😊

The Staff were awesome , made you feel very welcome. Shout out to Erickson and Martin . Food good and nice facilities

Stopped for the night on our way to Swakopmund. Room was nice and big for a family of 4. Excellent wifi and water pressure which is a huge plus for such an isolated place. Food at the lodge is also very good. From our verandar we were able to see animals roaming the plains and wildebeests drinking from the waterhole. Sunset rock on the property is also a nice spot to see the surrounding area and makes for great pics and viewing. The best part about the property is the way the staff treat and care for you during the stay. Only regret about this lodge is that we only stayed for a night.

I was overcharged in my bill by owner way more. And I saw he was trying to overcharge others too. Very condensing owner. Location is really far from anything, so isolated and nothing significant about it. They are not helpfull to pick up or drop off.

The staff at the lodge are warm, knowledgeable, and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Erikson is a delightful dinner host, Werner is a phenomenal guide, and Kai and Jahni run a great lodge.

Beautiful scenery. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely quiet location and enjoyed the hiking and birds.
Wifi and electricity kept cutting out with no provisions to make guests more comfortable (I.e no warning that the generator would be switched off at 11pm, could not charge devices, no torches or candles handed out.) A bit expensive for a place that had no electricity, wifi or aircon half the time I was there.

It was the perfect location for sunset photos. The staff were all very friendly. Dinner was very nice and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The aircon in the room was a bonus against the heat and wind

From the moment I arrived at the lodge, I felt very welcomed. Kai, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful and nice to talk to. Always eager to help, he was kind enough to offer a 2nd night at a much lower rate when I had to postpone my original plans due to feeling slightly under-the-weather...
Food was very tasty and everyone working there was professional and pleasant to be around. I kept the best for the end: the VIEW is absolutely breathtaking. You will not want to leave this place.

Awesome experience as only guest in the lodge totally spoiled with outstanding service, experience of the team.
Night sky unbelievable added to with the knowledge of Colandra.
Trip to Sossusvlei excellent with very knowledgeable guide Berin - sadly his first trip to the area since March as no tourists around. However this was excellent for us as had a wilderness experience into areas normally crammed with visitors.
They accommodated all food requests seamlessly! Loved the food and service.
Nothing loved it all.
