The facility was exceptional and staff were constantly mopping the pool area which was kept meticously clean to avoid slipping and to keep the area as dry and clean as possible. I would definately recommend this hotel and will be back to stay at seashells hotel on my next visit to Phu Quoc

I would like to see rubber matting around the pool area to walk On as the tiles are so very slippery to walk on when wet around the pool area. Even taking constant care when walking I always had near miss falls.This is a danger to both staff and patrons and by having rubber matting to walk on could help avoid serious injury to persons walking around this area. Would be nice to also have options of fresh fruit smoothies for breakfast. Maybe a smoothie bar incorporated. Otherwise resort was exceptional.

The room was big and comfortable. The view not so good because we didn't want to pay double the price for a sea view.

The photos on the website are totally inaccurate. The beach looks wide and the sea ready to dive into but it's not like that at all. The beach is about 20ft wide at most and you have to pick your way through the rocks to find a sandy patch. I tend to be wary when cancellation is not allowed and this hotel backed up that situation. If I could have cancelled on arrival I would have done so.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location as it was right on a lovely beach. It has a large swimming pool with an excellent pool bar. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of foods catering for all needs. All staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Short walk to Night Market. 10 minutes from airport on the green bus (free). Buffet is awesome. Pool is great and clean. On the beach.

Not much not to like.

Good location, clean rooms, great breakfast.

The sea waves are quiet loud if you are a light sleeper. The room we had was a corner room and was a bit tight. There was no extra bed for my 6 yr old and she had to sleep on a tiny sofa bed (not a fold out). We had to ask for extra towels and sheets and blanket for my 6 yr old.

The Seashells Phu Quoc Hotel & Spa is an excellent hotel, and a great choice for tourism, business, events and as a central location for island discovery. The hotel staff are the real asset here, and are all so friendly and helpful, and that goes from the restaurant to the front desk, cleaners and concierge. Having a great location in Phu Quoc town and still being on the beach, allows for an easy walk to the Night Market and the plethora of local restaurants in the vicinity. We visited mainly for a friends wedding, which the hotel catered for exceptionally well and made this special event even more special for everyone. Well done Seashells!!

All was GREAT!!

Cleanliness of room was excellent but virtually no free water. Breakfast was excellent buffet, and free espresso coffee was excellent Rained during entire stay so pool was not as clean but no side effects, ear problems. staff were consistently nice and smiled even though couldn't speak English.

More free water included in the room. Fridges were only used as a cooling device 12-15 c instead of 2c. could not have cold beer in room, unless ordering ice. Very few staff throughout all areas of the hotel spoke English and this made communication a chore. Rained heavily during our entire stay, i would suggest Travellers look at weather before booking as the hotel was meant to be a sleeping house with outdoor activities, not a prison. Prices overall as dear as many current Australian Resort.

Centrally located and they took our last minute booking on the day we arrived as we had a booking elsewhere which was of such a low standard that we were in need of another hotel immediately.

The poolside music that constantly had very loud doof doof music. It would have been bearable if it was normal music but it wasn’t it was nightclub bass music which we notified the staff that we felt it was inappropriate but it continued to play the duration of our stay. It was also overcrowded with local tourists which we did not experience during our first trip to Phu Quoc, not reflective of this hotel in particular.

Buffet is amazing, pool is great. Good for family with kids. Location is very central just 3 mins walk to the night market and 5 mins to seafood restaurants xin Chao. Food by pool is good and massage place is great.

The bed is very hard and not comfortable for the 5 stars hotel.

breakfast was very good, sometimes difficult to find table. I think in light of recent Covid pandemic there should be sanitizing stations in specific locations. many people do not observe certain etiquette, hotel needs to recognize these issues and be at least a little proactive.

The location is great! Situated right at the beach and nearby the night market. The staff kept the toilets near the swimming pool super clean! This really was remarkable.

At the check-in we had to give a deposit for the stay. This wasn’t communicated. The hotelbed was big, but really uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the matras and it was just 2 big beds put next to each other. In the middle you could feel the wooden edge. Then with checkout we received a letter the night before with all the options etc for checkout. Also we had the option for a late checkout. We wanted to have that later checkout. Only in the morning they receptionist told us this wasn’t possible because they where fully booked. last but not least we got sick after having our breakfast here. All together, we had fun doing nothing in Phu Quoc but we think that for this money you have better options
