The description is pretty clear the pictures are fantastic. The host was great at helping set up activities and private chefs for the house. This was my first trip to Costa Rica and the house truly is open to the jungle. Monkeys are crazy and cute, spiders are big and scary, you are living in a jungle. The bedrooms are all very well air conditioned and stay very cold while you sleep at night. Love the house and already rebooked the house for a 2023 trip that I am VERY excited for.

The experience of vacationing in this house was amazing!!
The Treehouse is like no other vacation house I ever stayed in. It is impressive in its design and function. The finishes throughout the house are first class! The views are like a movie and you are submerged into the rain forest while still relaxing in luxury. We really enjoyed all the monkeys, sloths, reptiles and birds that visited us while staying! I live in Louisiana so I thought it would be hotter and more bugs but I was completely wrong. The weather was completely comfortable our entire stay and the bugs were there but non invasive. The we absolutely loved the open air concept of the main living area and kitchen. It’s like maxi glamping in a mansion! Lol! The entire team with Esacape Villas are pro’s. Valerie our concierge was so helpful during the planning stage. She answered all of our questions and booked all of our transportation to and from the treehouse. She arranged all of the excursions, spa services and chef services. You must book Chef Jorge and his sidekick Kim as much as possible. They were amazing and kept the delicious food and drinks coming all week! They are both so easy to work with when deciding what to have and we enjoyed them in the house!! Not to mention they entertained us like we were guests in our own home. Bonus! They cleaned the entire kitchen every time before they left. The housekeeping team at the treehouse is also very impressive. They work daily to keep the house in tip top shape but you barely notice they are there. Ricky our host was also a huge benefit during our stay. He greeted us when we arrived and made sure everything we had planned with Valerie was implemented. He was also our go to when we wanted to get out on the beaches or dinners out. He got our transportation arrangements as well as our reservations. Anything we needed we just text Ricky and he made it happen.

This place was great for our group. It has a magnificent view of Manuel Antonio beaches (but sunset is just out of view) and the trees surrounding the property were filled with most animals we saw in the jungle (sloth, several variety of monkeys, iguanas, and many birds). Weather was amazing for enjoying the all outside living space on the main floor (no walls to close up kitchen…something I enjoyed for this trip but could not live in long term). You have to be aware of monkeys trying to be sneaky and get food from the kitchen and ants attacking remaining crumbs. The chef and cleaning staff is amazing though. Highly recommend getting the chef for your stay! He prepared breakfast, appetizers, dinner and dessert each day (and cleaned it all up too). A true luxury! We would rent again.

This house is incredible! Valerie, Ricky and Lorena were top notch! They all went above and beyond! The CHEFS!!!! Wow!! Jorge and Ashley were so amazing, the food was delicious the service outstanding! Our arrival was delayed 3 hours and our chef that night was Miguel, he stayed and had a fresh delicious hot meal waiting for us!! They all went the extra mile! The views were outstanding, loved the daily visits from the wildlife... we will be back!!!

The house is beautiful inside and out! Everyone was so nice from the minute we starting planning our trip. Valerie was so helpful with planning everything from our adventures to our fabulous chef Choko. We highly recommend getting Choko as often as possible!! Ricky was a great help too!! Can't say enough good things... the daily monkeys, sloth and beautiful birds were such an added bonus too. Hope to visit again soon. It was our first time to Costa Rico and we loved every minute of it!

Fantastic property with an absolutely breath-taking view and a first class team taking care of your every need. Heck, my family and I extended our vacation at the villa an extra week within 48 hours of stepping foot in the place. The pictures are accurate, but in reality, they do Villa Tree House no justice. You have to experience it yourself to understand. Fernando, Valerie and Ricky pampered us to no end and made the whole experience top notch. This is a place where memories are made.

If you are like me and browse listings for days before choosing one, do yourself a favor and stop now and book this villa. Absolutely gorgeous. There were 8 of us but in reality enough room for 16 people. Can't beat the view, no need to ever leave the villa. Although if you are a beach person you can rent a car and its a 5 minute drive down to the beach. Highlight of the trip were our personal chefs Jorge and Fernando.

We can’t begin to express how beautiful and perfect our stay and the property was. It was picturesque and we didn’t want to leave. Ricky was magnificent and Valerie was wonderful in helping us plan. I can’t wait to come back to this property

The level of care put into the details of the home is something we have not yet found in Costa Rica. We have lived here 3 years and this is absolutely the best house and experience and value yet. It was clean, it was luxurious, and the daily wildlife is something you have to see for yourself. We will stay here again when we want another staycation.

We fell in love with this property. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the set up of the house and the upfront and personal view of the wild life of Costa Rica. The location was just perfect as it was close to great restaurants, activities and the beach. We will definitely return and stay at this property in the future.

Absolutely beautiful house complete with stunning views and monkeys that come for a visit. If we are ever in Costa Rica again, we’ll have to come back to the Tree House! :)

The property is extraordinary. Our mouths dropped to the floor when we walked in. We literally were in the trees with the monkeys, toucans and macaws. The main level is perfection. Open but covered.
The place was quiet and picture perfect so that you could stay for days just taking in the scenery. People should know that monkeys literally come into the property. We loved it. Not everyone would though.
The service was excellent especially before hand. We peppered the team with many questions which were answered promptly and with a smile.
The chefs were lovely. The food prepared by the team was good but not excellent. Still the overall experience was fantastic.
I have already recommended the property to others and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Jaw droppingly gorgeous open structured luxury villa - even more beautiful than pictures can capture. Completely immersed in the sights and sounds of the jungle and ocean! (Yes, you can hear the waves at night AND the night sounds of the jungle!). Pool was perfect (bigger than I thought it would be), total comfort, aesthetic attention, surprises and delights at every turn. Must love monkeys - daily visits by THREE types. Such a treat!! Highly recommend private chef Junior and his asst, Andrey! Highly recommend guide, George! Thank you Escape villas for making all 3 generations of our family very happy!!!

Cannot say enough to describe this "gem" of a villa in Manuel Antonio. The pictures do not do it justice.....it is much more. Valerie was terrific in planning our visit, the staff did a great job of keeping the villa clean and......well, for food, Chef Junior was absolutely outstanding!!!!! We had him cook for us all seven breakfasts and dinners. The monkeys visited twice a day and enjoyed the sun deck as well as the living room. The infinity pool was the best, especially at the end of the day. The view of the ocean was spectacular. This will be the absolutely best vacation rental you have ever had.

The Treehouse exceeded our expectations! This house is such an amazing way to experience Costa Rica. The location is ideal — safe yet secluded. Close to the beach and restaurants yet private. Outdoor living with privacy in each bedroom. We were BLOWN AWAY!!! Our group was so filled with love for Manuel Antonio and want to do this again. We can’t thank Valerie, Fernando and of course Ricky for the best week!!! They were so helpful booking excursions, our chef (!!!! The food! Outstanding!!), and van transportation. Thank you thank you! We will be back! Pura Vida!

The house and view are as beautiful as the pictures. we arranged for the shuttle from the airport which is a great idea if you don't rent a car. Our driver stopped for groceries on the way in and souvenirs on the way out! Rikki met us at the house and gave us all the info we needed Great guy and available for anything you may need. The housekeeper cleaned daily and did an amazing job, even laundry if you need it. There is a bus that you can catch up the hill, about 60cents a person and it will bring you down by the national park all the way back to Quepos. Taxis are also availabe but a bit more expensive (10$ for 5 of us) there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance although food is somewhat pricey for a family of 5... check trip advisor and plan ahead. We had no problems paying in US dollars and got a pretty good exchange rate. The excursions we planned ahead of time with Valerie were great. We did the catamaran which we all thought was the best ( dolphins, whales and endless views and entertainment) whitewater rafting was also fun. Totally safe and worth the $. Our teens had a great time. We also did the waterfall tour. A lot of driving on this one but worth it. Jumped into some beautiful waterfalls, slid down a rock waterfall slide and stopped ata beautiful beach. Also served a great lunch. All of the tours pick you up at the hose and bring you home and the guides ares fantastic. Ended up adding the canopy zip lining when we were hanging out at the beach 60$ if you pay in cash) definitely not for those afraid of heights but worth it if you can overcome your fear. We saw plenty of wildlife... sloths, toucans and of course daily visits from the monkeys. They come by twice daily and hang out in the open common space on the third floor. Broke into our fridge once(our fault) and stole our eggs! Never felt in danger at all but funny little things to watch. Not much night life that we could find. Older teens walked to Salinas which was fun on Friday and sat nights. Played pool a few times at the bar up the hill and across the street (billfish I think) and they had dance lessons one night too. Esteban (bartender) was great and very friendly. Overall, it was a great trip. Very safe and friendly area. Only downside... doing construction on house next door so we were up at 7 daily listening to drilling and hammers. Wish I knew this ahead of time. Also, the hike up/down the hill can get pretty slippery! But Pura Vida!

Raider nation reporting!!!! It is truly difficult to articulate how absolutely incredible Costa Rica was for the seven of us. Valerie and Fernando were super helpful prior to our arrival, answering every question we had promptly and offering helpful suggestions. From the moment we arrived, our host Ricky accommodated all of our requests and helped us put together one of the best weeks of our collective lives. The villa itself was absolutely stunning with a totally unobstructed view of the ocean (which between us is best viewed in the infinity pool on a giant unicorn floatie). Aside from the views we took full use of the outdoor shower, movie theatre, billiards room etc., they've really thought of everything right down to all of the beautiful hand carved wood details throughout the rooms. I should also shout out to Lorena at this point because she is really the sweetest and kept the place in immaculate condition the whole time we were there despite a few late mornings on our part, we could hardly part ourselves from our beds each morning but somehow Lorena managed to seamlessly work in our rooms and it was always clean. One of the best parts of our trip were the multiple excursions we took while there which were all coordinated by Ricky on relatively short notice- every single one was super fun and totally seamless. We were always happy to hear his smooth and suave "It's Riiiiiicky" on the other end of the line.
One of other things that Ricky booked was our private chef named Marcos. We had him for one of our first nights and the food was amazing and his serving was attentive. We also adored his assistant Freddy. We had such a great time with him we booked them twice more!
Again, this was such a lovely vacation, unparalleled and it was all due to the professional and courteous staff.
I, also, want to make sure that I talk about the villa. Absolutely huge. It has 4 huge bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, one in each room, as well as two half baths. The villas has two sitting areas up stairs as well as a huge balcony on the main floor as well as a game room area downstairs. Plenty of communal room. The kitchen is top notch, it encouraged us to make a full brunch. We had 7 people with plenty of room and felt we could have had room for more
Again, this place is beyond words, we tried our best, don't hesitate, book now!!!

Two families rented this house together with children ages 5 to 11. It was a perfect base for us to explore the Manuel Antonio area. However the house was so nice, it was hard to leave to explore the area - we wanted to stay at the house all day! It was so amazing to have an outdoor living / dining / kitchen area open to the rain forest with wildlife all around us. The best was seeing and hearing the monkeys around our house and even come into the living room. The kids LOVED the infinity edge pool and the bedrooms and bathrooms were AMAZING! We couldn't believe the views of the ocean and the surrounding forest - it was breathtaking from every room in the house. We would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Cost Rica.

We booked the Tree House while it was still under construction and were hopeful that the house would be beautiful. The finished home exceeded our wildest dreams. Valerie, Ricky and Lorena were very helpful and easy to work with. Lorena made sure that every room was just right each day and Ricky responded to our questions very promptly. The tree house was stunning and yet very comfortable and practical. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. Each bedroom was unique and amazing. We absolutely loved the open air living area and enjoyed the visiting monkeys on a regular basis.
We had a car and appreciated the ability to get to the beaches and grocery stores whenever we wanted. We found that we didn't need our car for excursions because we could get picked up at the house. The Tree House is conveniently located for visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, for snorkeling, ziplining, beaches, and more. There was more than enough to do but it was also hard to leave such a fantastic home. It would be easy to spend days at the Tree House and never leave because it is so pleasant.
We would highly recommend Escape Villas and The Tree House.
