Casa frente al mar en la joya escondida de Pataua Sur. (aprox. 30mins desde Whangarei). Absoluta trampa de sol y vistas de la bahía a la playa de surf. Los toldos mantienen la lluvia y / o el viento afuera con un gran flujo interior / exterior. Área de comedor al aire libre + climatizada de reciente construcción con una gran mesa con vista a la playa frontal, ideal para relajarse y ver pasar el mundo.
Reme en la laguna directamente desde la playa o lance un bote desde la rampa para botes a 300 m por la calle. Camine hasta la playa de Pataua North a través del puente peatonal (10 minutos) o camine hasta la playa de Frogtown (5 minutos). Amplia sección con área segura para perros, trampolín, red de voleibol y uso de 3 kayaks.
Cuarto de baño interior con ducha / WC, etc. Ducha exterior de agua caliente. 2 neveras grandes.
Sección cercada y segura: sala de estar interior / exterior con barbacoa y múltiples cubiertas con calefacción. Gran césped al aire libre en la parte posterior de la sección para niños y estacionamiento. Con las persianas para proteger la cubierta delantera, la casa está preparada para el día lluvioso ocasional y muchos rompecabezas y juegos para los días familiares.

We enjoyed a fabulous week with awesome winter weather, cold nights & sunny days.
Heaters kept us cosy in the right places at night with plenty of bedding. Our group enjoyed the privacy of the sleepouts.
Well equiped in all ways and the location is absolutely stunning. Loved using the kayaks in the safe estuary and sitting at the waters edge watching the bird life.
David thankyou for sharing your special piece of paradise with excellent arrival notes and useful details on boating. We had great days fishing and water-skiing.

We had two families staying along with our dog! A perfect spot. Right on the water. The kids especially enjoyed the kayaking, dart board and outdoor warm shower! Enough room for everyone. Our dog had the time of his life too. Warm and cozy. Close to the boat ramp, lots of fishing and diving! Kids loved jumping off the bridge. Will definitely come back.

The best get away for my whanau at the Emoji. Thank you David for letting us take care of your bach for the Easter weekend. As usual we did not want to leave. Great memories for our babies. And so very relaxing. Darts was a hit for us with a few coldies. Beautiful. We love it here!

This has to be the perfect place to unwind,relax and recoup. The old school kiwi bach with extras in the most amazing location a few steps from the water. David is an amazing host and great communicator. Thank you for the privilege of being able yo stay here.

A great spot for our 4 day holiday. We had 6 adults, 3 couples, two dogs. Beds in outhouse were put together to make a ‘Queen’ size. The ‘kids’ got use to it.

Authentic kiwi Bach for a short holiday from Australia. It was clean, tidy and good facilities. David was easy to communicate with and offered a late check out which was amazing.

This is such a relaxing and beautiful area, the property is funky, homely and great for a group of friends or a family. We really enjoyed waking up to the sparkling estuary right in the backyard and kayaking out around the bay. Also love the indoor outdoor flow and the covered, entertaining area with the heater is lush! Would certainly recommend and stay again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful few days at this fabulous holiday home. Communication with David was so easy and quick - thank you. The location right on the estuary beach is perfect - lovely sitting on the deck with a cuppa just reading a book and admiring the view.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my husband with the family. There was an issue with the power when we arrived due to the power providers updating some equipment but David was very responsive in helping us to sort it out .
The sheltered location was perfect for its beauty and proximity to the water for older and younger family members . We enjoyed using the kayaks and found the accommodation very comfortable.

This is great property, lots of little sleep outs and places to stay. It was a shame we stayed in bad weather but it held up well and was cosy. Hosts were helpful during this time!

Lovely spot! So much to do for kids that can swim and with the supplies kayaks. Loved the outdoor lounge and couches! Very relaxing in the evening.
Bach has great supplies and we found everything we needed easily. Sleep out with laundry is pretty rustic so my kids wouldn’t use it but the other sleepouts worked great with extended family and teens / kids. Will def come again!

This property was perfect for our family group - giving the opportunity for each different whanau to have their own space. The separate areas for sleeping were fabulous as was the dining area which enable us all to eat together in lovely surroundings. Lots of games (we played pictionary one night) - used the kayaks, jumped off the bridge and generally had an awesome family time. Highly recommended. Also the hosts are excellent communicators and provide a very comprehensive information sheet in advance of your arrival.

Our group of two families enjoyed a lovely weekend at this property. There was plenty of room for the adults to relax and the kids to play. Being able to walk straight out onto the beach was a dream. The property is well set up with separate sleeping areas and two showers & toilets. We'd love to stay again!

Winter weekend escape July 2022
We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was winter the heating in the Bach was perfect. We also made use of the kayaks and the outdoor dining room was awesome for morning coffee. Communication with the owner was amazing and he sorted out any issues we had straight away. My son loved the hand chair too. We will definitely stay again sometime soon.
