Some amenities could do with an upgrade, but the properly is charming and well maintained.

Quiet location but within walking distance to the village centre. Clean, well equipped, comfortable chalet. Beautiful garden with a stunning sunset view. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the owner Shelley. The hippo we were lucky to spot!

The mattress could do with a mattress protector.

I didn't like that I could have a late night dinner at restaurants due to warnings of there being a lot of Hippos at night

This place was amazing, Shelley the owner/host was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Pool, location, units.. everything was fantastic. Will not stay anywhere else in future, only here. loved every moment of our stay

Shelley was very warm and friendly, she helped us with bookings and on request recommeneded good restuarants and places/ beaches to visit in the area. She was always around if we had a question. The staff were also very friendly and the Challets very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, stove, fridge, utensils etc. It was possible to braai by the pool or in front of the Challet. Beautiful sunsets by the pool. It was very quiet and varies animal calls and hippos could be heard at night. We had a parking space right next to the Challet and could come and go as we pleased with a remote for the gate. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and will surely stay there again should we be in the area. Thank you Shelley and staff. Richard Ortner

Very nice hosts. Lodge is a little bit out of main road. Very quiet area. No lights at street after dark. Still restaurants in walking distance. It was a very pleasant stay!!! Liked it.

We had a lovely stay at Sunset Lodge. The chalet itself had everything you need and was very clean. Shelly, the owner, was also very helpfull and kind. She helped us in a lot of ways with our car that had some issues.

The view was awesome. Will defiantly go their in summer to laze around the pool and enjoy the lovely fire pit while watching the magnificent sunset. The unit was lovely and clean and the staff we very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended and value for money.
