The hotel was in a lovely old building with lots of character. The bedrooms were quite spacious, very clean, nicely furnished in muted colours and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom ( with a shower over the bath ) was modern and clean. There is a lift, which is useful with suitcases, and the entrance to the hotel is secure with a 24 hr buzzer system. Breakfast was really delicious with lots of choices available and the hot cooked breakfast was to order ( so none of the congealed breakfast buffets you get in some hotels !!) . The staff were all very friendly and helpful . The very centre of Edinburgh is a 15 min walk but the 27 bus stop is near the hotel and will take you to the centre. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and, if you don’t like the big modern hotels and want something with character but still extremely comfortable and offers quality amenities then this comes highly recommended .

Staff was nice, location was good, room was spacious.

Personally found the beds were quite uncomfortable and stiff, so I barely got any sleep. Really though that's my only complaint, it just had a huge impact on my experience.

Oda çatı tarafında olduğu için minicik bir pencere mevcuttu ve dışarısı gözükmüyordu. Konumu gerçekten uzaktı. Her yer yokuş ve şehri keşfetmek için gidiş-dönüş için sürekli efor harcadık.

Das Frühstück wurde zusätzlich gebucht und war für eine Woche sehr umfangreich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und absolut hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat eine top Lage und war auch sehr sauber. Es hat uns bestens gefallen. Das Zimmer hatte eine ausreichende Größe. Gerne wieder.

Die Mitnahme eines eigenen Adapters für die Steckdose sollte nicht vergessen werden. Evtl. sind im Hotel nicht genug vorhanden.

La musique 🎶 classique en fond sonore. La paisibilite des lieux. Personnel et responsable très agréables. Le repas est divin.

Nos gustó todo, ningún problema

Todo muy bien con las instalaciones, muy limpio y silencioso (ideal para el descanso), cerca de todo (18 min caminando del castillo). Desayuno muy bueno, quien nos atendió a diario fue muy amable y atento. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

Que no pudiese abrirse la ventana.

Only thing I didn’t like was the mushrooms that came with the fry up, they looked like frozen mushrooms and weren’t to my taste I’d rather have fresh ones.

The breakfast was delicious, the room was wide and cozy, the bed was really good. We had tea in our bedroom and also good wifi.

I found the instructions for changing or not the towels a bit confusing

Lovely accommodation in Edinburgh. Very comfortable and clean room. Very quite at night. Lift access to rooms. Breakfast was awesome, cooked breakfast was so good and cooked to order. Continental buffet was lovely with a great range to suit everyone. The waitress here was so friendly and had a chat each morning which was lovely. Location was within walking distance to most attractions and tours that we did. Be aware walk to Edinburgh Castle involved many steps. We had most of our evening meals delivered as there was not to many options close to the accommodation and it was so cold at night. Easy and cheap to get to accommodation from the metro by taxi.

Não foi feita a limpeza no primeiro dia nem troca de toalhas. Quarto pequeno e pouco higiénico com restos de no chão ( não aspirado) Roupeiro sujo de pó (não parece ser limpo desde a remodelação). Uma meia esquecida por hóspedes anteriores que se manteve durante a estadia... Autoclismo sem pressão de água suficiente para despejar sanita e quarto de banho sem escova sanitária. Carpete necessita de limpeza e reparada ( marca ferro engomar).

Necesitabamos dejar la tarjeta para tener electricidad en la heladera y cada vez que hacian el aseo nos desconectaban la tarjeta. En la heladera tenia remedios que no podian perder cadena de frio.

El primer día nos hicieron la habitación, el segundo alguien entró a la habitación, se llevó una toalla pero no hicieron la habitación. Que entren a la habitación y no la limpien, para que entraron? Lo comentamos en recepción y el siguiente día tampoco la hicieron. El sofá cama es súper incómodo, terminamos poniendo el colchón en el suelo.

The room was functional, the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

The bar was small and didn't have any atmosphere. We went to the bar up the road at the Novatel.

Breaksfast was great, eggs, bread juice, Jam, typical breakfast, fruit and there was a buffett and also a la carte breakfast. It was 10 to 15 min distance walking from big attractions we never took a cab

The heater can not be controlled so the room was hit all the time make it sleep a bit difficult

Las instalaciones perfectas. Al ir en invierno la calefacción es importante y funcionaba excelente. Se puede ir caminando en pocos minutos a las atracciones de la ciudad

The rooms are so big and spacious and the beds are so comfy. Nice big TV in the room and tea and coffee supplied. Iron, fridge and lovely house coat and slippers there to use if you wanted :)

La ubicación es una de las mejores cosas del hotel, puedes llegar caminando a todos los puntos claves del centro de la ciudad. La habitación era muy amplica y comoda, y su personal muy amable.
