we had a magnificent view over cinco de Mayo parade. the staff were helpful when were robbed and even provided a nice gift.

we believe our credit card was accessed in the room, leading to lots of stress when payments were made and we had to cancel. we were also scammed via the hotels chat in the booking.com app

The AC (air conditioner) didn’t work correctly; it went off randomly and one had to request at the front desk for it to be reset (quite annoying). The water heater was off one morning and we had to shower with cold water. The staff is unprepared, unkind, and has no customer service judgment.

The rooms are a good size. There are plenty of outlets for all computers and phones to charge up. I stayed in the balcony room and you can see the volcano from the balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable. Restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful! The location is perfect to explore city center and there is a shopping center with restaurants near by which is very convenient if you don't have time to walk around the city center.

My balcony door didn't shut properly, but I felt safe since I was on the third floor. The front desk receptionists were not as friendly, just matter of fact.

Horrible WIFI in rooms, and very thin walls, you can here everything. Night employees chat loudly & heard consistent chattering. Are room was on the 2nd floor.

there was noise from the road. It was not so bad when sleeping, but it starts again around 5:00 am. The staff was so kindly moving me to another room.

the hotel hardly response to message from booking, neither from myself or booking staff. Was trying to change a non refundable booking which allows date change, they never responded. When I called, first time a lady hang up on me straight away because I speak English and she doesn't. Had to find a Spanish speaker to call, and they keep telling just cancel on booking and will be free (which is true if they response for my fee waive request but they never did). and my friend also got hang up once when trying to request them to response on booking. At the very end, it was sorted but was a really bad pre-stay experience. Other than that, the room is next to the street and was really noisy when there were groups of motors passing by.

The location was excellent. So much within walking distance. The cleaning staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Restaurant menu had nice variety of food choices and very reasonably priced. Eco friendly hotel was a plus.

Hotel was not equipped to take credit or debit cards. This was very inconvenient because our stay was 7 days and required us to spend much of the cash we had with us. The wi-fi was very slow. The hotel did not have face/wash cloths. Pillows were too soft and mushy, very uncomfortable. The in-room refrigerator did not cool well and any food we had did not stay at proper temperature.
